Keep Your Foot Safe

164 ( 90 | 74 )

We are never too young to learn wisdom. It is better to suffer for doing the right thing, then suffer for doing the wrong thing. God disciplines those whom He loves. If we disobey, we will lose the reward that comes with obedience. Wisdom is costly, but the rewards are more than worth it. It will pay greater dividends then anything we can invest. We need to look at things from God's perspective. Wisdom brings safety and success. It is possible to forget what we know. When the "crowd" is trying to get you to do the wrong thing, do not follow the crowd. Follow the narrow Way that Jesus spoke of. People, are by nature, sinners and no one needs to teach us to sin. We need to obey the scriptures and not even set foot on the path of the wicked. When people say, do not worry it will get better. That all depends on what road we are on. If we are on the road of wisdom, it will get better. If we are on the road of the wicked, it will not get better. We need to be careful of what we give our affections to. We are not to take paths that might not be okay; instead we need to take only paths that are firm. We need to keep our feet from evil.
