I Will Not Remember Sins

This remarkable verse reveals the promise of the Lord Jesus to completely save His people. It appears again in Jeremiah 31:33-34; Hebrews 8:12 and 10:17. The completeness of salvation is the subject. God promised by the work of Christ in behalf of His elect to discharge their sin and remember their sins no more. By the substitution and sin-bearing of Christ, their iniquities were removed from His sight and His mind, as far as the east is from the west.
