The Family of Faith

We continue our Sunday afternoon study through Galatians by examining both the faith and fatherhood of Abraham. Abraham is the father of faith. When we believe, we follow in his steps. It is in this sense that Abraham is our father. All who have faith are in his family (Jews and Gentiles).

God's covenant with Abraham is based on faith and not law-keeping. A law-keeping approach to God leads to inevitable judgment by God. Justification under the Law has always been and will always be impossible.
