The Problem is Sin

Adversity is part of this life and we are not immune to it. Ecclesiastes 7:15-29 shows that we cannot avoid it by being more righteous or wise, for pervasive human sin lies at the heart of the problem, so our trust must be in God and His ways.

1. Adversity cannot be avoided, but
   always fear God (7:15-18)

2. Wisdom gives strength, but we are
   never wise enough (7:19-24)

3. The heart of the problem is sin in
   the heart (7:25-29)
