'Sword of the Spirit" (12)

We get to the offensive part of God's armour; "The sword of the Spirit." Jesus gives us the best example on how the sword of the Spirit is to be used in an encounter with the devil. When Jesus was tempted by the devil, He used the Word of God to attack every attempt of Satan to get power over Jesus. God's word can indeed reach areas in people's lives that nothing else can.
