Lighthouse Radio Bible Study Lesson #2220
Primary Scripture Reference: Isaiah 44:1-8 (KJV)
Additional Scripture References:
Romans 9:6
Zechariah 12:10
Acts 2:17
Acts 2:39
Key Points from this Lesson:
There is no god but God.
His people are called to hear His word.
He is not silent.
We are not listening.
The call is to those who have ears to hear.
Exile and captivity are inevitable results of sinful living.
God will sustain and ultimately redeem His people.
The lack of hearing and heeding does not change the identity of God's people.
We are His from the foundation of the world. Our identity rests securely in Christ through every circumstance. Even exile.
God is the only One who has the power to cause us to flourish in exile and bring us out increased.
When we conform to and serve the culture, we will be exiled into the captivity of sinful ways. We must repent and return to God from our chosen bondage. We must listen.
There is no god but God.
He has made us.
He promises to help and preserve His people.
God will keep His promise to redeem us.
His will is going to come to pass.
Be comforted in this.
