Servants — Regardless…

"Servants — Regardless"
In… By… and As…

The sermon centers on the transformative reality of being a new creation in Christ, emphasizing both the burden of longing for full union with Him and the profound blessing of His imminent return, which fuels present faithfulness. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5–6, it highlights the believer's identity as a servant of God, called to live with integrity, humility, and divine power regardless of circumstances, marked by purity, love, and the Holy Spirit's guidance. The message underscores the gospel's core—Christ's substitutionary sacrifice, where His righteousness is imputed to believers and their sin is borne by Him—making them positionally righteous before God. It contrasts true servants, who exalt Christ and build up the body of Christ, with false teachers who exploit people for personal gain. Ultimately, the sermon calls for a life of selfless service, rooted in knowing and glorifying God alone, who delights in lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness, and who empowers believers to point all glory to Jesus, the source of their identity and hope.

INTRO – GRATITUDE, UNDERGIRDING, AND TRUST

Well, amen. Ain't the Lord good?

We've had a good stretch lately—good weeks with different churches, good attendance, good spirit, good liberty. And I'll tell you this straight up: we couldn't do any of it without folks undergirding, praying, and faithfully tending the home base. That makes all the difference in the world.

It's like that Proverbs 31 picture of the virtuous wife. The Bible says:

"The heart of her husband safely trusts her, so he will have no lack of gain."
