the assembled congregation!

    3.  Double honor also limits the salary of the Pastor.
        

II. Dangers that Attend a Paid Ministry

A.  1 Timothy  6:3-11

    1.  The Greed of False Teachers 
            
    2.  Note the characteristics of the false teachers:

1)  He is not governed by the Word of God.
2)  He is proud.
3)  He does not major on the foundational truths of 
    Christianity or the foundational truths of theology 
4)  He believes that his worldly success proves his eminent 					spirituality.
5)  Those who have their hearts in the ministry for the money  cannot be faithful ministers of Jesus Christ.  v.  9
