Delays in God's Proceedings Due to Wars in the Supernatural World of Spirits

The Son of God appearing to Daniel tells him that from the very first day of his prayerful mourning his prayer was heard but that the Son was hindered (and therefore the answer to Daniel's prayer delayed) by the opposition of the supernatural and demonic prince having dominion over Persia. In this cosmic battle Christ is joined by the archangel Michael, the guardian prince of Israel. In this mysterious passage we are taught that the answer to our deepest prayers may be delayed by unseen wars above in the realm of supernatural spirits. This warfare is illustrated by texts from the New Testament.
