We must analyze how a religion (or cult) deals with the following issues:

• Scripture
• Deity of Christ
• Justification (salvation)

Engaging Islam: Is Islam a religion of peace? Do Christianity and Islam teach the same thing? These questions are analyzed through the lens of scripture as the following attributes from each religion are presented:

1. The character of God in Islam and the character of God in Christianity

2. The character of the Koran and the character of the Bible

3. The character of doctrine in Christianity and Islam
