two services on Sunday mornings. The first of which is our Bible Prophecy Update, where we look at current events and what's taking place in the world today. And then second service is our verse by verse study through the Word of God. And we are currently in the book of Hebrews that will be live streamed at 11 15 a.m. Hawaii time. Today our text is going to be chapter 6 verses 1 through 6. I'm chuckling for a reason. And that reason is, it's one of the most controversial texts and passages of Scripture in all of the Bible. One commentator actually referred to it as Satan's favorite passage of Scripture. Yeah, how's that one? So we're going to be looking at and studying Satan's favorite passage of Scripture, second service in our study in Hebrews. So hopefully you'll join with us. That's the place where you can watch the update today in its uncensored entirety. So with that, let's get started for today's update. I am going to attempt to answer some of the most often asked questions pertaining to all the information, even misinformation that's being reported today. Please know, and I hope you know this, that I never want to posture myself as an expert who has all the answers, because I do not. Actually, I owe a debt of gratitude to you as a local and online church as well. Many of you have sent me your research, and I want you to know it has been a huge help. Actually, truth be made known, I really need to commend you because you're among the few who truly has ears to hear the hard things. This is what our study was on Thursday night. We're going through the book of Isaiah. And Thursday night we were in chapters 29 and 30. And I want to read for you verses 8 through 11 in Isaiah 30. It's going to be germane to what we're going to look at and talk about today. Now go, write it before them on a tablet, and note it on a scroll, that it may be for time to come, forever and ever. Okay, that's what you're going to write? Yeah. Verse nine, that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD, Who say to the seers, Do not see, And to the prophets, Do not prophesy to us right things, Speak to us smooth things, Prophesy deceits. Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. What? Do you know what they were saying? They were saying first to the seers, stop, we don't want to see it. And they were saying to the prophets, stop, we don't want to hear it. We only want to hear smooth things. We don't want to hear hard things. And if you are going to speak, just lie to us, prophesied deceits. We don't want to hear the truth. We want to hear what we want to hear. And if you can't do that, then don't bother. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease. Just don't say anything at all. Now our tendency is to look at something like this and fancy ourselves as never being one who would ever say anything like that. I mean, that was them then. Certainly this does not apply to us now. Well, actually it does. Second Timothy chapter four. I'll begin reading in verse one. in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom. I give you this charge, Timothy. Timothy's a pastor. The Apostle Paul, by the Holy Spirit, is exhorting Him and charging Him. Verse two, preach the word, be prepared in season and out of season, correct, rebuke. Well, we don't want that. And encourage with great patience and careful instruction. And here's why. For the time will come, dare I say, that time is here. when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside the myths. In other words, there's coming a day when people will say, hey, either you tell me what I want to hear, or I'll go down the street and flock in great numbers to a teacher who will. And here's the thing, you don't have to go very far to find one. Oh, they'll stay away from the hard things. Let's just talk about the easy things, the good stuff. God loves you. It's all good. You're good. We're all good. It's good. Have a good day. God bless you. Let's hug, group hug. You'll forgive the dramatization, but sadly it's not too far from the truth. See, this is what our ears are itching to hear. I'm a good person, and it's all good. But in God's Word, it says, no, it's not good, and neither are you good. There's an interesting account in the Gospel of John, the sixth chapter. I want to begin reading in verse 60. Jesus has just got done teaching the multitudes a very hard teaching. Therefore, many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, this is a hard saying. Who can understand it? When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples complained about this, He said to them, does this offend you? What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before? It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life. but there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe and who would betray Him, speaking of Judas. And He said, verse 65, Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father, From that time, listen to this, many of his disciples went back and walked with him no more. Translated, they bailed on him. Why? I don't want to hear this. This is too hard. Speak only smooth things to me. Don't be so negative. What's with all the doom and gloom? Don't be a Debbie Downer.' Then Jesus said to the 12, Do you also want to go away? But Simon Peter, I love Peter. I tell you, I love Peter. I can't wait to meet him. Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Which tells me he actually thought about it. You have the words of eternal life. Also, we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Yeah, I don't want to hear this, but I need to hear this, because you alone have the words of life, eternal life. You are the life. Where else are we going to go? Oh, my flesh chafes at this. Week in and week out. My flesh doesn't want to hear this. Things are bad, really bad, really, really bad. Let's close in prayer. They are. And here's the thing, it's going to get worse. Have a nice afternoon. But God, but God, I share all of that to say this, thank you. I really mean that. Thank you for not only putting up with sound doctrine and hard things, but thank you for requiring it, demanding it. I cannot thank you enough for having ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying to us, His people, as this, His church, in this, the last hour of human history as we know it. You make what I do an absolute joy. And I know I share this often. I hope you don't tire of me saying it, but I deem it such a privilege and honor to be the pastor of this church and the church beyond these walls. So thank you. Thank you. Now, if you'll kindly allow me to, I would like to take and tackle some of the hard questions with the hopes of providing the needed answers. Okay, what follows in no particular order are several questions that I myself have been asking and they are packaged with the answers that I hope will be a help to you and an encouragement to you as well. First question, what do I do when they knock on my door to give me the jab. Either don't answer it, or if you do, have at the ready a script and an answer, because they do. Did you know that? Pictured here is the door knocking script that an online member sent me from the Lake County, Illinois Health Department and Community Health Center. We provided a link below if you're interested. In it, it's quite extensive, covers everything. It's kind of interesting because the first thing they address is don't be nervous. Yeah, the reason you're nervous. What about me? You're the one wanting to give me the jab. The reason I mentioned that is because, think about this, they are not the enemy, they are the mission field. And they're probably not only as nervous as you are, they might even be more nervous than you are. So in it, they state that the, quote, door knocker is not soliciting. because they are not seeking an order for any goods or services. So they're not considered to be a solicitor. Therefore, no solicitation signs do not apply to them while they are performing this activity. I'm quoting, always be respectful of the residents you interact with, and if asked to leave, you must do so. No trespassing signs still apply and must be complied with. So what's going to happen if somebody comes to my door? I hope they get saved. I'm going to share Jesus with them. An online member sent me this sign, vaccine solicitors. It says, you are trespassing on private property. If you proceed with solicitation, let it be known to you that you will be presented with the truth of the ABCs of salvation. I don't think they're going to knock on your door again. And if they do, then that's an opportunity that you need to seize. By the way, if you stay with us online today at the end. I want to do something a little bit different with the ABC's of salvation. You know, we often refer to them as, you know, being so childlike, simple. It's not just as simple as ABC. It's actually simpler than ABC, because of the centrality of the B. believe. It's even more simple than ABC. So hopefully you'll stay with us till the end for that. Can I draw your attention to first Peter chapter three verse 15? You're familiar with this verse, at least I hope so anyway, because it is an exhortation to us to always be at the ready with an answer. So that knock comes on the door, answer it, and be ready to share with them that hope that you have in Jesus Christ. Peter, by the Holy Spirit, writes, But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord, Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Now that's interesting. Give me just a moment on this. I think I would be grossly remiss if I didn't point this out. It's interesting that in their script they are told to be respectful. How much more so should we be respectful? We are representing Jesus Christ and it is incumbent upon us to be very respectful to the people with whom we are sharing the Lord with. I think we do err greatly in our witnessing, in our attempts to evangelize and share the Lord with people and share the gospel with people. if it's done with the wrong, or you could do it the right way, but if it's with the wrong heart. And I'll tell you, I'm embarrassed to say it early on in my walk with the Lord, I was just belligerent, you know. And I was set out to win the argument, but I'd lose the opportunity. makes me want to cry. Be respectful, be gentle, be kind, be loving when you share the Lord with people. I'll take it one step further and just suggest that Maybe the Lord will choreograph the steps of that door knocker to knock on your door, orchestrate the circumstances so they have your address on their list. Because somebody's been praying for their salvation. Maybe their mom, maybe their dad, grandparents, loved ones, been praying for years. for them to get saved. And here's the Lord. Just picture the Lord in heaven, His eyes searching to and fro, looking for someone that He can entrust them to. So He searches to and fro, and He finds your address. He says, put them on their list. I'm going to answer that prayer. And they come to your door. And instead of you getting the jab, they get saved. How's that one? Question number two, what about these variants? Specifically what we're hearing about more so now, the Delta variant. Well, it seems that this is yet another way to get more people jabbed. had numerous people send me this video titled, There's No Variant, Not Novel, No Pandemic. Dr. David Martin with Reiner Feulmik. If I'm pronouncing his last name correctly, probably I'm not. In the one hour, 22 minute long video, Martin talks about how this is a campaign of coercion and terror to address a stated objective and that there was no novel coronavirus. A check of gene sequence versus all patent records showed that this was not novel since the year 1999. He talks about how that there are 120 patented pieces of evidence showing total fallacy of the claim of novel. In other words, This is manmade, whatever this is. And it was weaponized with evil, malicious, nefarious intentions. Number three, why are some people falling ill or even dying while others are not? Now this is a tough one. Just kind of hang in there with me. There may be a couple of reasons for this, one of which is that, and I want you to think about this, if everyone died shortly after the jab, people would realize it was because of the jab. Right? So it's believed that whatever they're injecting people with takes time to duplicate itself into every cell of the body. And depending on many factors, that may take some time. So there's enough of a distance between the jab and the death, as it were, so that they cannot tie it back to the actual jab. And I'm calling it that for a reason. It is not a vaccine. It is not a vaccine. Another possibility is that some may only be getting a saline placebo initially and even intentionally. And I'll expound on that if you'll just bear with me. According to this June 29th Newsweek report, a small number of people have been injected with saline rather than a COVID vaccine in South Carolina. I had several people send me this video of a recorded phone call to Moderna from someone who experienced adverse effects from the jab. So she calls in and she talks to this Moderna rep. And the Moderna rep states, and I'm quoting, all the clinical trials, trials, are still ongoing. Results of the phase three study. Wait, phase three. Oh, we're, that means there was a two and a one. I know that's deeply profound, but if we're already in phase three, we must have already finished whatever phase one was and whatever phase two was. Results of the Phase 3 study show there are no severe cases of infection among participants who received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, listen very carefully, quoting, prepared with 30 cases among those who received a placebo, which is no vaccine. Wow. Well, the vaccine, quote unquote, injured caller interrupts and asks, quote, so only 30 people got that placebo? The Moderna rep responds with, quote, so in phase three, yeah. Here's the question. Why would they bother injecting people with a saline placebo when they're hell bent, quite literally, on getting the entire population jabbed. Here's one possibility. It could be that they are initially giving people saline so they don't fall ill or die right away. Then say it was accidental to get them back in for the actual jab and injection. According to this report, Minnesota vaccine recipients were quote accidentally given a saline shot. In it they say, and this is interesting, that patients will have to be revaccinated. CentraCare says it's taking steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Come on. Number four, this is a biggie. Why are they're all biggies? Why are those who get the jab becoming magnetic? You've heard about this? Have you seen the videos? Well, as more information comes out, it seems to be pointing to the presence of what we mentioned last week, graphene oxide. Frank Kessler, a good friend of mine, good friend of the ministries actually, he's from Tennessee, sent me some information on this. And we've again included the links. Everything is, all the links are below. But here's some of what he had to share. A friend of mine, while having dinner, brought up the magnetized arms after getting the jab. He had to know if it was real or not. So he started researching. To his amazement, the comment sections in his research were full of people attesting to its validity. One comment made mention of graphene. My friend couldn't find anything until he located this article out of the UK titled Battery and Energy Technologies. His background was working extensively repairing MRI machines, optometry machines, aircraft instruments, and you name it. He's an electronic geek in short. I told him about the mark of the beast and the luciferin in the mark and the needle patch as you described. And he said, that's exactly what the properties are in the graphene, turning light into an electrical current and being fluorescent, making it suitable for biosensing. He was blown away. the structure being carbon and its many properties, i.e. magnetic, electrical, conductivity, photoluminescent, photovoltaic, drug delivery. He also sent me this article from Carter Heavy Industries, and they answered this question of what is graphene oxide, quoting, All the major C-19 shots are manufactured using the same graphene oxide nanotechnology. These particular nanoparticles remain un-magnetic when they are in sub-zero degree environment. Oh, oh now I get it. Oh, that's why. Still quoting, but they become magnetic when they reach the same temperature as the human body. This may explain the now undeniable phenomenon of countless people displaying magnetic properties after getting the jab. Dr. Jane Ruby, a pharmaceutical drug development expert, stated that it's due to a substance added to the vaccines called superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles. They're added because it's, and I want you to listen very carefully, it's an aggressive delivery system to get it into every cell of your body. The process is called magnetofection and is available in scientific literature such as PubMed. You okay? All right. Number five. How can we know the real numbers of deaths from the jab? Answer, we really can't know because they are, well, you'll forgive my borrowing of a corporate term, they're cooking the books. They're covering it up. That's why, by the way, Biden wants to read all your text messages and Facebook wants to fact check all your posts to protect people from misinformation, because misinformation is killing people. I agree. Misinformation about the safety of this so-called vaccine is killing people. Yeah. So is there any way to kind of get an idea of what's really happening here and how many people are actually dying here? Well, pictured here is the VAERS data through July 7th showing 9,048 deaths, which at first glance seems, they're just numbers, right? On a screenshot. No, they're not. Those are people. Those are fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers. Those are people. And I want to brace you for this because I've heard it from more than one source that this reporting, VAERS, It's believed to be only about 1% of the actual number. I'll let you do the math. Here's an article titled Dr. Peter McCullough. Whistleblowers inside CDC claim injections have already killed 50,000 Americans. Dr. Peter McCullough, the most highly cited physician on the early treatment of COVID-19, has come out with an explosive new video that blows the lid off the medical establishment's complicity in the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of Americans. Dr. Peter McCullough said these deaths have been facilitated by a false narrative. And then he said this, COVID was a bioweapon and the vaccines represent phase two of that bioweapon. That's what this is. And that's the truth, by the way. I know it's a hard truth, but it's the truth nonetheless. Okay, if you're anything like me, and I suspect that you are, I've got to believe that you are. The seriousness of all of this can leave you a little hopeless. and even fearful, I have to confess that, in fact, you know, I was thinking about this on the way here this morning. I think this is the Holy Spirit. I would really encourage you for second service. If you're unable to stay or watch, it'll be archived. You can watch it online for those of you here. It kind of hit me, the importance of this text in Hebrews chapter 6 verses 1 through 6. Because it's about once being saved, always being saved. You cannot lose your salvation. If you're born again, you cannot be unborn again. Why do you parenthetically say this, pastor? Well, because The enemy is all about trying to put doubt in our minds concerning our security and our salvation in Jesus Christ. And never was this more important, I believe, in my humble opinion than it is today. If you only knew the number of emails we get from people who say, you know, I took the jab. Am I still saved? Yes. Am I going to hell? No. If you're saved, you're saved. And by the way, this is another, I was thinking about this just this morning. It could be argued that this is yet like we need another one. We don't. But yet another case that proves that the rapture of the church has to happen before the seven year tribulation. And that the Antichrist, the beast cannot be revealed until the church is removed. Now, why is that important? Because if we're already in the tribulation, or even if there's doubt, and you wouldn't believe. I didn't mean to go off on this, but whatever. This is too late. If you only knew how many Christians are saying, we're already in the tribulation. No, we're not. Because if we're in the tribulation, then that means that this could already be the mark, and it's not. Now stay with me, and here's how I get there. There are no Christians born again at the time of the execution, I'm sorry for that word, of the mark of the beast. I didn't mean to use that word, but for lack of a better one. There cannot be Christians here at that time. The church has already been removed. Well, wait a minute, pastor. What about those that get saved in the seven year tribulation? Oh, when this becomes the mark that you have to have in order to keep your job and buy food, it will be at that time that it will be in concert with the worship of the Antichrist. And that's when people will realize, wait a minute, I heard about this. My Christian friend that's been gone for a couple of years now, because he disappeared in the rapture. They tried to explain it away as an alien abduction, UFOs, like in the movies, by the way. He told me about this and now it's happening. And it will be at that point that many will come, multitudes by the way, will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in the seven year tribulation. But the church isn't here. Can you imagine? So you're a born again Christian. And you have to understand that those who receive this mark are doomed and damned forever and ever and ever. You know that, right? So I'm a born again Christian, and I unwittingly, unknowingly, even innocently take this mark that I'm told in the Book of Revelation will doom me for all eternity. Well, that sounds to me like then that my salvation is tentative. And satan's all over that. because if he can get us as Christians to doubt our salvation, that's a game changer. That changes everything. If I can lose my salvation, stay with me, this is very important. And the enemy doesn't want you to hear this. He also doesn't want you to hear the teaching in Hebrews six. But if I can lose my salvation, then the implication is that I've got to do something to keep it Does that sound like grace to you? That sounds like works to me. That sounds like I have to bring something to the table of salvation to keep my salvation, if I could lose my salvation. And oh, by the way, it's blasphemous to even utter the words. When Jesus said it is finished, He lied. I know again, that's all, it's hard to even say that. God forbid, cannot be. No, He said it is finished. What's finished? The work. It's finished. Nothing else needs to be done. He didn't say it is finished if. It is finished however No, it is finished. If you're saved, you're saved. You can't lose your salvation. If you could lose your salvation, then well, Paul said it basically, we are to be pitied. If Jesus did not finish the work, defeat death, pay in full for sin, we are to be pitied. In fact, you know what? Pack it up, Let's go home. We don't need, you don't need this anymore. God forbid, God forbid. Let me say it like this. For those of us who have a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, we need not be given over to a spirit of fear or despair. Yes, all of this was planned, and those plans are being carried out exactly as Bible prophecy says they will be. replete throughout the pages of Scripture, one prophecy after another, speaks to exactly that which is taking place today. It's all coming together exactly, precisely, perfectly as we were told it would. It was all planned, but God has a plan too. Jeremiah 29 11, I know this is a life verse for many. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. to share with you something that I was reminded of. The Lord reminded me of this experiment decades ago concerning hope. You probably heard about this, but pictured here is a pro-life ministry article titled Hope Floats. I like that. Back in the 1950s, Kurt Richter, a well-known Harvard graduate and scientist, did a series of rather unorthodox experiments using water, buckets, and rats that resulted in an amazing discovery. He wanted to see how long rats could swim before they drowned. Richter put rats into large buckets, half filled with circulating water. Being notoriously good swimmers, the rats lasted about 15 minutes before giving up and succumbing to the depths of the bucket. in a follow-up experiment. As the rats started to give up and sink, he pulled the drowning rodents to safety, dried them off, gave them a brief period of rest, only to put them right back into the same bucket. Here comes the amazing part. Those same rats now swam for an average of 60 hours, two and a half days. A rat that was temporarily saved survived 240 times longer than one that was not given any intervention. Richter's conclusion, that saving a rat from drowning, even temporarily, gave that rat hope. It's been said that you can only live a certain number of days without food, less number of days without water. But one can only live seconds without hope. Hope. And we have that hope. We just need to keep on swimming. The rapture is our blessed hope. It's almost, how do I say it? It's not like, oh, I sure hope. Oh, I hope so. No, it's not like that. This is the hope that only God can give. And if God gives it, you're going to get it. I don't mean like that. I'm going to get it. No, not like that. God has given us this hope. I know my plans for you, and I'm going to let you in on it. My plan is to give you a future and a hope. Yeah, but pastor, you don't understand. The deadline now for me is August 6th for my kids going to school, August 1st or whatever it is, end of August for some. We get those emails in voluminous numbers from people all over saying, I don't know what I'm going to do. I mean, they are forcing us to either get this thing or lose our livelihood. What am I going to do? Well, maybe this should have been The final question, I might as well address it. What do I do if I have to make that choice between either getting the job or losing my job? That's a very real thing, even now as we speak. And I want to give you kind of a twofold answer. This is not from my notes. This is from my heart, because I too am dealing with this issue on many levels. First of all, if you get the jab, you're still saved. Okay. Nobody can take you out of the Father's hands. Nothing can separate you from the love that God has for you. Last week we talked about Psalm 91. I would encourage anyone who has taken the jab, first of all, I would really encourage you not to get the second one, just saying. But more so, I would really encourage you, those of you who have, to really go to the Lord. Spend some time in Psalm 91. Pray, ask the Lord for His divine protection over you. And for those who are going to make the very hard decision to not take this thing, knowing, and you've counted the cost, I really want to encourage you to trust the Lord. Please, I know that can sound cliche. It is anything but. I know for me in my house, we're going to trust the Lord. We're going to take it one day at a time, because I never imagined that God is in heaven going, man, the deadline is coming up on August 1st. Gabriel, Michael, get over here. What are we going to do? You don't think God's going to take care of you? Yeah, but what am I going to do? I mean financially. Oh, God's not going to provide? God's not going to provide for you? How do you know that God doesn't have something infinitely better for you? Just waiting for you. And just trust Him. You will never regret trusting in the Lord. And I know for some it's really hard right now. I mean the family dynamics. Oh, just heartbreaking. Some of the things that people write in and ask us for prayer concerning. Oh, just so heartbreaking. I mean, mothers and fathers with prodigal sons and wayward daughters are just, they're just devastated. And I just want to encourage you and remind you and testify to you, because I can testify. If you put me on the witness stand, I can testify under oath that God will see you through, no matter how hard it is. No matter what it is, God will see you through, and it will be perhaps in a way that you never imagined possible. Just wait, you'll see what God's going to do. I know the situation looks so perilous. It looks so impossible. But God is the God of the impossible. And God desires to do those things in our lives if we will but believe. He will provide. And you're going to go deeper in your relationship with the Lord. And as hard as it is, you'll look back on it if the Lord tarries. And you'll say of that time, though I would never want to go through that again, I would never trade what God did in my life when I went through that. You will taste from a cup that few do. You will taste of the Lord and see that He is good and He loves you so much. He will never leave you or forsake you. He will always be there for you. Oh my goodness, He's in you. God, the Holy Spirit's in you. I think you're in good hands. You've got nothing to worry about. Yeah, but they're coming to the door. They're threatening my employment. Well, apparently they don't know who my daddy is. Can I say it like that? How about that? Now, Jesus said that my Heavenly Father cares for the birds in the air and lilies of the field. There's never been a human being clothed as magnificently and splendidly as that flower right there that's here today and gone tomorrow. That flower was not created in the image of God. You were. That bird, I've never yet seen a bird freaking out about having enough worms for next month. You know, building barns, stuffing worms in there, hedging against the future, just in case. I'm prepping. No. Why? Because your Heavenly Father feeds them. And they never worry about that. How much more will your Heavenly Father care for you? Why are you so worried? Why do you go back and forth and fret so much? Don't you know who your Daddy is and how much He loves you? He will provide your every need. Well, I want to end with the gospel, the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ, and also the ABC's of salvation. The gospel very simply is this. The Apostle Paul, writing in the Corinthians in chapter 15, the first four verses, says the gospel is that Jesus came, He was crucified, He was buried, and He rose again from the dead on the third day. That's the good news. Why is that good news? Because He did that for you. He paid in full the price for you. He went to His death instead of you. That's the good news, the gospel of salvation. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us instead of us, that whosoever among us would believe in Him would not perish in hell for all eternity, by the way. but have everlasting life in heaven with Him for all eternity. So I want to do something a little bit different with the ABCs of salvation. Something this last week that kind of dawned on me is the centrality of the B, believe. Now stay with me. The A and the C all point to the B. Almost sounds like an algebra equation. Let me try that again. All one needs to do to be saved is believe. It's actually simpler than ABC. Truth be made known, it's be, believe, believe. Wait, don't I have to repent? No, believe. What about, don't I have to come forward and pray a prayer? No. Believe. And what precedes the believe is, wow, I need Jesus. I need Jesus. I need to put my trust in the Savior because I'm a sinner. It's the acknowledging of your need for Jesus Christ. Romans 3 10 says there is no one righteous, not even one. And Romans 3 23 tells us why. It's because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. It's when we come to that realization that we're a sinner you'll forgive me for the way I'm saying this, that we're in the market for a Savior. See, if I'm not a sinner, I'm not in the market for a Savior. I know it's kind of a crass way to say it, but that's what needs to happen. And that's how all of us come to faith in Jesus Christ. It's by coming to the realization that, and we see ourselves as God sees us, a sinner in need of a Savior. Romans 6 23 says that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. See, when I realize, hey, I've sinned and that sin carries a penalty, and that penalty is the death penalty. And then I hear about someone that has went to their death in My place. That's good news. That's the gospel. And that's what Jesus did. And that's the B, believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. Romans 10, 9 and 10 says, if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. Now what happens when we come to faith in Jesus Christ? We believe in Jesus Christ. Now understand, believe is not just, well, I believe, I believe in God. Nope. Believe means to put your faith, your trust in the person of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. That's what you're believing. you are believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord. And then it just comes out. In fact, if you're anything like me again, and I suspect many of you were, when you first got saved, you could not shut your mouth. I mean, all you wanted to do was talk about Jesus. And all you could do, remember those times? I'm sure you have fond memories like I do, of those times when you first came to Christ. And I mean you couldn't stop talking and praising Him and calling upon Him. That's the sea. It says, if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. And lastly, Romans 10 13 says that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be, will be saved. For me, that was 39 years ago. I'll never forget it. It was at night, cold January night on the mainland, and I had just heard the gospel so simply and wonderfully presented. And I realized, oh my goodness, it's like ACDC says and sings, I'm on the highway to hell. I don't want to go to hell. So I put my faith in and believed in Jesus Christ. And I fell asleep praying. And this, basically this was my prayer. And I'm not proud of this. First of all, I was very intoxicated, very high on a lot of drugs. And I remember just, you know, praying myself to sleep, saying, I don't want to go to hell. That was my sinner's prayer. That was my prayer. I don't want to be on the highway to hell. I want to be on the highway to heaven. Just like that. And I fell asleep. Woke up the next morning. As God is my witness, I could not start my day without tobacco, drugs and alcohol. I know that's gross. But first thing in the morning was the beer and the bong. Went to reach for the beer, went to reach for the bong. The Holy Spirit's in me now. And in that still small voice said, you don't need that anymore. I'm like, I don't? And I stopped and I never looked back. And for years I had tried in my own strength, the willpower to stop. I never could. But now I had the Holy Spirit. I know it's not necessarily as dramatic for everyone, but for me it was, that's it. All those ACDC records that were telling me I'm on the highway to hell. And Led Zeppelin trying to tell me I'm on the stairway to heaven, but it's actually the staircase to hell. Don't get me started on that one. Gone. done. And I replaced it with, I didn't have a Bible. I mean, so I went out and got, remember those good news Bibles? I mean, limited vocabulary. And not really a translation, more of a paraphrase. But that's what I needed. And even that was a stretch for me. I'd killed so many brain cells, many of which have never come back yet. Although God has restored the years, the locusts, and the drugs, and the lifestyle has destroyed. And I couldn't put it down. I started in Genesis. I read it all the way through. It took me about six months. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't get enough. Man, it was the bread of life, the water of life. Before we end, just real quick, I want to share with you this email. We have been online members for quite a while. Never miss your updates. Love hearing the interesting ways the ABC's are delivered. I wanted to share this one with you. Just a background. Those of us who have Jeeps know we have our own little world between us. One game we found out is called Duck, Duck, Jeep, where a Jeep owner randomly leaves a rubber duck with a note with good wishes for the day and an invitation to do the same to others by buying the little ducks and continuing the gesture to other Jeepers. on our way home from the beach one day, my wife's light bulb went off. And she said, why don't we get little frogs instead of ducks and tie an ABC's of salvation card to it instead of the duck. So we've gone from rats to ducks to frogs. I said, that's a great idea. We could put JD frog on it. Oh, it gets better. And call it the frog brigade. So long story short, we are sending a photo, pictured here, of a few frogs. ready to go. It turns out the ones we got had a little hole in their mouths that fit a rolled up scroll of the ABCs. And it fit perfectly so they don't get lost. But they pique the interest of whoever picks it up to pull the scroll and read the message. Of course, we don't just leave them on jeeps. We wanted to send it to you because we knew you would get a kick out of the frog connection. Hey, I not only got a kick out of it, but I love it. Once you all stand, we'll have the worship team come up. You never know. God chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise, you know. I guess if God can speak through a donkey, He can speak through a frog too, right? That was a great way to end. Let's pray. Father in heaven, thank You so much. Lord, it's getting real and fast. And I've got to believe that what we looked at and talked about today just has to hit home with so many. Lord, I just pray, especially for anyone that's really discouraged or fearful or even hopeless. And that hopelessness is giving way to despair. Lord, I just pray that You'll pick them up. hold them up, love them, encourage and strengthen them, and just remind them that everything is going perfectly according to Your prophetic plan, and that they are safe in the palm of Your hands, under the shelter of Your wings. that You will always care for them, and provide for them, and protect them no matter what. Lord, thank You. Thank You for Bible prophecy. Were it not for Bible prophecy, we would have no idea about any of this. And it's because we have Bible prophecy that we're able to connect those dots with what's happening in the world today. And it's like you said, Jesus, that when we see these things begin to come to pass, we can look up and lift up our heads because our redemption draws nigh. We really believe that, Lord. And Lord, lastly, for anyone that might be here or watching online, that has never put their trust in You, believed in You. I pray that today would be the day of their salvation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
