Please open your Bibles and Mark chapter 6, 35, verse 44. In this part of the Bible, Jesus go to the desert with his disciples, and the people go. to meet with him. And the Bible say, And when the day was no more spent, his disciples came unto him and said, This is a desert place. I know the time is far past. Send them away, that they may go into the country round about and into the village and buy themselves bread. for they having nothing to eat. He answer and say unto them, give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, shall we go and buy 200 penny worth of bread and give them to eat? He say unto them, how many loaves have ye? Go and see. And when they knew, they say, five and two fishes. And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass. And they sat down in ranks by hundreds and by fifties. And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven and blessed and break the loaves and gave them to his disciples to set before them. And the two fishes divided among them all, and they did all it and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments of the fishes, and they that did it Of their loves were about 5,000 men. I want to talk about looking up to heaven. Lift your eyes to heaven. Amen? Let's pray. Thank you, Lord. Thank you for this opportunity. I can share in his word, Lord. Please help me. Give me his spirit, Lord. Help me to bless my brother and sister here today. And Lord, open our minds, open our heart. And Lord, please, we need you. We love you, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Every day, we have struggles. Amen? You have struggles, you have problems. Every day, every day we have difficulties. Situations that we cannot control. That sadden us, that makes us lost or calm. Joy, security, tranquility, or peace, or mind, and also be affected. And the last thing we do is lift our eyes to heaven and cry out. The last thing. It's sad, but it's true. If you need something, you search the neighbor, you search the bank, you search the family. The last thing I can do, we can do, Lift the eyes to heaven. We also have joys, success, victories, situations that somehow God gives us wisdom to get ahead. We can have everything under control. We are happy. Save, and the same way, or worse, we don't lift our eyes to heaven to thank. Give thanks. Thanks, Lord. Thanks for my wife. Thanks for my children. My children, my family is healthy. It's good. Thanks for I have a work. Thank for, I have a grandma, a grandpa, a mother-in-law. Amen? But sadly, but don't leave our eyes. Don't leave our eyes. And this evening, I, I thought, why do we need, why do we need to leave my eyes to heaven? And here we have three points. The pastor say, I have time to eight o'clock. I'm joking, I'm joking. The people, I can see them. No, pastor. Six o'clock, finish or no finish, go out. Amen? Amen. Amen. Why do we need to leave my eyes to heaven? Because the time is already advanced. The time is already advanced. Time runs and the coming of Christ is approaching. Jesus comes soon. Let us imagine. Let us imagine that Christ arrives today, in this moment, in this time, as how he will find us, how Jesus find us, in which situation, where, how is my relationship with him, my relationship with others. I have a grudge, bitterness, anger with someone. Sadly, some will be in places where they must not be. Discos, bars, stadiums, restaurants, cinema, parties, drunkenness, concerts, Now, I am not saying that all the places are bad. But, listen to this, but if we say that we are Christians, and we know that today is a service day, a day of love, and I have a church, where must we be? Where? What a good example of all these people in this verse, perhaps unconverted. There were 5,000 men, plus women and children. But all of them, for whatever reason, decide to be close to Jesus. The distance did not matter, but as soon as they heard that Jesus was in that place, they decided to meet him. But today, we put so many excuses to go to the church. It is very far. It is uncomfortable. There are not many people, or there are many people. It's cold. It's hot. It's raining. There is a lot of sun. Many excuses. We don't know the day or time when the Lord comes. Or I ask you, you know? Nothing. Matthew, chapter 24. Matthew, chapter 24. Let me see. Matthew, chapter 24, verse 36. The Bible say, but of that day on earth no man, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Only God knows the day, the day of the Lord. And that is why we must be attentive, alert. As the Bible says, be sober and watch. For many people today, it will be the last one. It will be the last chance. The world goes from bad to worse. And we should choose to stay close to Jesus, look for time with Him, look for Him in prayer, fasting, read His Word, gain souls. spend time in investing my time in what matters to him. The days are bad. You can see the world, brother or sister? You can see the world? The days are bad. Matthew chapter 24, in verse 38, Matthew 24, verse 38, the Bible say, for us in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking. It is Noah, in the time of Noah, yeah? Marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah I don't know, but I can imagine to the people in the ark, One people, Noah, his wife, children, three, and their wives, yeah, eight persons, no more. And you can imagine the people out the ark, the people say, Noah, Noah, open the door, Noah, help me, help me. In this time, it's the same. The days are bad. And people don't understand. People say nothing happens. I am fine. I don't need God. And they are being lost. Even people who say Christian, say it is not be so exaggerated, so conservative, or so fundamental. I want to say conservative, you keeping his standards. Fundamental, you need to have the fundamental. What is the fundamental? Jesus Christ. But the people say, no, it's so exaggerated. We have to have a self-inclusive Christianity. You can hear? God loves everyone. He knows the heart. Yes, we sing, but not so much. That of the clothing is not for today. That of reading his word is not every day. That of congregating, not every Sunday of every service. No, pastor, it's exaggerated. One time of month is good. Other people say, that of dancing, it's not bad. That of drinking alcohol, one drink, that's not bad. I know how to control myself. Before, I smoked more. Now, just one cigarette. It's that pastor. I am young. I have to enjoy. I have to experiment. that we are seeing, that we are listening. The people say, no happen, nothing. The days are bad. First Peter, chapter one, look this with me. How to be my life. How must be my life? 1 Peter 1, verse 16. You see, the Lord says, because it is writing, be holy, for I am holy. No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm confused. 1 Peter 1. No. But this must be my life. Holy. Separate of the world. Because God called us to sanctify it. Amen? Because our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. And how is my life? We need to examine our lives before God. Because the days are bad. Jesus comes soon. How beautiful it will be that when Jesus comes, he finds us gay souls in the streets, preaching his word, or that he finds us gathered in the church, folding knees on the altar or in our homes, praying, speaking with him. Singing hymns, the time minutes ago, we can practice the choir. Yeah? Imagine Jesus coming this time. Singing to the Lord. Wow. Wow. But the other people is doing a study, in discos, bar, drinking, drugs, killing. The time is already advanced. I want, when Jesus come, if I don't die, if Jesus come soon, come now, today, tomorrow, He finds me reading the Bible, looking for holiness, sections of the fight of sin, lifting our eyes to heaven. The times is already advanced. Second point. Why do we need to lift our eyes to heaven? Because if we don't, we become selfish. If we don't, we become selfish. The Bible says in Mark 6, return the passage, Mark 6, the Bible says, send them away that they may go in the country round about and into the village and buy themselves bread, for they have nothing to eat. The people don't have food. But we become so selfish that we only import ourselves, all comfort. or security, or assets, or money. Many people out there are so hungry for food. And we have it, but we don't want to share it because it costs us to move from our complaints It caused us to bother. It is hard for us to let go. It is hard for us to share. We forget that everything, everything comes from him and that nothing belongs to us. We are so selfish. That we prefer that the food we have, it rot and not to share it with someone else. It's ugly, but it's true. And I am talking about spiritual food. Spiritual food. You and me have the food for eternal life. You and me have food for salvation. You and me have the water that satisfies, that spring, that salvation. You and me have the water that spring, that run on us, run in us. Yes? But we don't want to give a drop. In addition, we see that people are angry, and there are people, wolves dressed in sheep, who want to give them bad food. These people want to give poison food, any garbage, and we do nothing for them. Many people will miss because their hunger will make him accept anything that fills them. So we see people who say, when I die, I will become a cat. And when I die for killing a few infidels, I will have a harem of women. I am free to think and believe what I want. So the homosexualism is fine. I'm a lesbian too. You can believe you are a tree. You are a tree. Yeah. Someday I can say I feel in this time is this. Many old men say, I am kid. I am girl. Girl kid. And my feeling is like a girl in four years. I have four years. I am kid. You can see it's a man of 64 years. But they say, I am free. I want to do anything, whatever. There is so much bad food. So much false doctrine, so much garbage that people, for their hunger, they have eaten whatever. There are people who offer food mix it with anatema, seasons that they work with a little Bible and give them one verse to eat, to eat, to eat. and give them, and they think that as it has the Christian title, it is fine. So we have Christian rock, Christian concerts, Christian dances, Christian centers or church that only provide entertainment shows, and don't speak The Word of God. Only search the experience supernatural, but they don't speak the Word of God, the complete Word of God. Look how Apostle Paul warns. 2 Timothy, 2 Timothy. 2 Timothy, chapter 3. 2 Timothy is after 1 Timothy. Amen? 2 Timothy, chapter 3, verse 1 to 5. In the last days, perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves. Covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection. trustbreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despised of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasers more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such turn away. You can see? You can see in the streets? You can see in the world? You can see in this generation? More people, more kids to bore with the rebellion in your bodies? And Paul warned to Timothy, put attention. Thank God, thanks God, that you and me are well-fed, good food. You and me have a good food, healthy for all spiritual health that allows us to grow strong, healthy, and we have in abundance. Yes? Abundance. Yes? But what Lord Jesus said, responding to them, he say, give ye them to eat. Give ye them to eat. Dear brothers, we have the responsibility delegated by the Lord Jesus Christ to feed them. Yes, brothers. You and me, don't look at the one next to you. Don't look only at the pastor, only the leaders of the church. Each Christian is responsible for sharing the spiritual food of salvation. And this takes me to the next point, why we need to lift our eyes to heaven. Because if not, we become incredulous. We become incredulous. Shall we go and buy 200 penny worth of bread and give them to eat? The disciples say. Jesus says, give them to eat. Yes? Yes? Share the blessing. Share what God has given you. But naturally, it will not be with our strength. It will not be with our intelligence. It will not be with my ideas. It will be with the help of God, with the power of God. It's not my strength, my force. It's the power of God. What the Lord Jesus Christ did? What the Lord Jesus Christ did? He looked up to heaven and blessed it. And break the loaves and gave them to his disciples to sit before them And the two fishes divided, he among them all. Lifting your eyes to heaven, dear brother, and you will remember that God promised to be with us until the end of the world. His promise. The disciple being even with Jesus in front, but forgot who he was. who he was. Being Jesus with them, forgot about miracles. I have a question. God make miracles in your life? Yes? And why forget him? The disciples, with them forgot about miracles, being Jesus with them, but forgot who called them. You remember? Jesus go and say, you come with me, you come with me, you come with me. Jesus say you, you, Jared, come with me. You, Ray, come with me. You, Diana, come with me. Jesus say. Paul, Dylan, Sistara, Sisliza. Jesus say, come with me. Sister and brother, Jesus say, come with me. Don't forget him. The disciples with Jesus, but for God who called them. And we are not different from them. Because we have our Bible, but we don't want to read it. We have a church, and we don't want to come. We have our pastor and we don't want to ask for advice. We have the prayer at our disposal and we don't want to fall on our knees. We need to lift our eyes to heaven. Many times we are like the disciples. No, Lord, we have only two fish and five loaves. It is no, no. And we are the same as they saying, no, Lord. I only have for the rent. I only have for the food. I only have for the power. I only have for the phone. No, Lord, I only have for the iPhone. No, Lord, I only have for the Netflix. No longer reach me for you. Worth, worth to share others. Believe in him and give God first, and you will see how in the hands of God, the little becomes a lot. I can see. I can see personally. In the hand of God, the little is a lot. God bless obedience. God gave a meal that satiated. Satisfied. And they did all eat and were filled. God is not debtor of anyone. Give to God your time. Give to God your home. Give to God your children. Mom and dad, give to God your economy. Give to God your life. And you will see miracles that only he can do it. It's the introduction. I'm conclusion. I have a conclusion. Lift your eyes to heaven and remember your creator. Look this in Ecclesiastes chapter 12. Ecclesiastes is in the Bible. Chapter 12, verse 1. What say the Bible? Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not. Nor the years draw nigh when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them. Oh, brother, if I have other chance in my life, I want to bore and to serve the God. Not last time. It is interesting with this ending. It is interesting as being in a desert place. Look in Mark 6, verse 35. It's a desert place. You can see? Mark 6, 35. And when the day was, disciples come and, this is a desert place. The Lord commands them to sit down on green grass, on green grass. And by groups, in verse 39 and 40, yeah? You can look. And he commanded them to make all sit down by company upon the green grass. You can see, yeah? This also makes me think that even in a difficult and desolate situation, God takes care of me. And he is God of order. Yeah. He cares about me and commands me to put my life in order to be able to receive from his blessing. No, I do not mean you can hear the other people knowing here. Other people, far away, in America, in America. Hi, pastor, I don't receive blessing. Hi, pastor, I am trying, I am trying, I am suffering. Go to the church, go to the prayer, don't receive blessing. And some pastor ask him. How is your life? How is your life? How are your life? And you're living with men? Yes, pastor. You are married? No, pastor. What are they doing? Put in order your life. Pastor, I have a big job, but the money is not sufficient. You give to tithes? You give the offer to God? Put God in first place? In all situation, put to God in first place? One illustration, you imagine, what is the value of this life, of my life? What is the value when I die? Zero. Yeah? What is the value in the building when I die? Nothing, yes, nothing. What is the value in a car, a big car, a pretty and beautiful car and beautiful thing? What is the value when I die? What is the value of God? If you imagine this, if you put other things in first place, the value is 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0. And sometimes, and many times, the people put God the last, last position. And you imagine. I can't see. Zeros, zeros, zero car, and the car, the mansion, the boat, the, I'm sorry. And the last position, God. How many? But, but, if you put God in the first time, what is the value? for eternity. Put in order your life. Lift your eyes to heaven. It seems that the people who were hungry had more faith than the disciples who arrived even before them to be with Jesus. These people, 5,000 men, plus women, children, wow, a lot of people. And the Lord Jesus gave us this beautiful teaching, live your eyes to heaven. I have a last minute. Psalms 23. Remember these people? It was in the desert. But the Psalms 23 say, the Lord is my shepherd these people in the desert and jesus put sit down and green grass take a care about them Jesus in the Psalms 23 the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want please please read with me read with me yeah one two three the Lord is my shepherd I shall not know I He made me to lie down in green pastures. He leaded me beside the still waters. He restored my soul. He leaded me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake. Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me. thy rod and thy staff, they come for me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. I don't know, but you and me, we need to lift our eyes to heaven. Because if we don't do it, we lost the blessing. We lost His presence. Let's pray.
