We are exploring the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew chapters 5-7. We began last time looking at the setting of the sermon and to whom it was given. We then considered the first beatitude. We observed last time, the Lord Jesus began His famous sermon describing what the subjects of the Kingdom of Heaven look like. We continue today by looking at the next two beatitudes.
