Genesis: The 'Bottom Strip' of the Christian Faith
Series Day with WMI
What does creationism have to do with the man for whom Chicago's O'Hare International Airport is named? Here is a hint: to find the answer make sure to listen to the entirety of this powerful and motivating session by Carl Kerby, a founding director and international speaker for Answers in Genesis. Kerby draws on illustrations from his 24-and-a-half-year career as an air traffic controller – which included nine years at O'Hare. He shows a parallel between his experience there and the Christian's service as a missionary in today's culture. “You have to have a point from which to start to get back in control,” he says, explaining the "bottom strip." Kerby shows that Christians must go back to the Word of God for wisdom about how to live in this world – beginning with the history of creation in Genesis. “Do not compromise on the age of the earth issue,” he says, “because you undermine the whole gospel message.” We trust that you will enjoy this final message from the 2006 Third Annual Day with Whitcomb Ministries – so much so, in fact, that you will be led to share it with a friend!
