Praying With Windows Open

During this series, we are considering the truth of God to transform our minds and shape our consciences regarding how we think about our relationship with the civil authorities. How do Christians honor the civil authorities, do what is good, and exercise sanctified consciences, as we are instructed in Romans 13? How do we think biblically about the demands that come out of the civil government? Our text explains Daniels character, work life, customs, patterns of faithfulness to God. It vividly displays his courage to disobey and the consequences he experienced. It was his custom of prayer, in defiance to the kings order, which got him thrown into the lions den. He had holy, fixed, biblically ordered, unalterable customs that sustained him his whole life long. How about you?
