Eschatological Update

Who denies the Father and the Son (1 John 2:18-26)? Who decapitates "nonbelievers" (Revelation 20:4-5)? Who wants to divide the land of Israel (Joel 3:2; Daniel 11:39)? Who has a religious center in the desert (Revelation 17:3; Isaiah 34:8-10)? The biblical answer is anti-christ and his religion, but the answer in today's world is the religion of Islam. The Christians of the first century, the Jews of 135 AD, the Byzantine Christians, the Crusader Christians and the Reform Christians all had their own takes on eschatology based on their view from their historical position. We now have a new perspective of eschatology from the 21st century. The scriptures do not change and the scriptures are accurate. What changes is our place in history as we read them.
