The Essence of the Day of Judgment

Sermon: Revelation 11:15-19

Introduction: As you think of the day of judgment, what is the most important aspect to it?

I. It is a time of judgment for some
A. The description of these –
1. “enraged”

 2. “those who destroy”

B. These will be “destroyed”

II. It is time of reward for some
A. The description of these – God's servants, prophets, saints, those who fear Gods name, small and great

B. They will receive a reward.

C. The nature of the reward: being in God's presence

III. But, the essence is praise
A. Focus ultimately is upon God and His praise
