True Satisfaction

Many today are looking for something which will truly satisfy the longings in their hearts. They try pleasure seeking, hard work, wealth accumulation, relationships, political power, and education to fill the void in their lives. But nothing ultimately satisfies. Only Jesus can fill the emptiness and give life meaning. But true satisfaction does not come through pursing Jesus to meet our "felt needs". Nor is it through pursuing material wealth. But true satisfaction in life comes from committing one's life to Jesus Christ, the "Bread of Life". We are to work for the food which endures. And the only work we can do is to believe, to trust in Jesus for salvation and true satisfaction!
