DOES IT FEEL LIKE THE WORLD HATES YOU? Genesis 39-41

Last week we saw Joseph as an enslaved person in Egypt, helpless and with plenty of reasons to be bitter against his brothers. This young man with a bright future appears to be abandoned by God and his family. Logic demands that Joseph must be angry, bitter, resentful, cynical, fearful, self-serving, and self-pitying.

Today it must be confusing for Joseph. His dreams never showed him as an enslaved person or even as a prisoner.

And where is the LORD when this is happening?

THE LORD IS WITH JOSEPH!
