Despite all the junk that Brother
Jimbo said about me and Brother Jim, I still appreciate you saying
it, man. I'm trying not to render evil for evil, amen? I'll let
Brother Jim do all that stuff. Good to be in church! I appreciate
you letting us come, preacher, amen. It's a blessing to preach,
amen. In your pulpit, it's a blessing
to preach from a friend by the gym, a hero of mine also, amen. I appreciate that opportunity
and privilege, amen. I appreciate you coming, you
people of God, men of God. You've traveled a long way, good
to see you tonight, amen. Kind of trying to figure out
what to do, amen. It's not always easy, but we'll
try this and see where it goes, amen. I need me a couple of volunteers
tonight. Four male volunteers. Men. Take a seat right here, fellas.
Take a seat right here. We don't have a problem with our identity. We know which bathroom to use.
Two more. I need two more. Come on, come
on. I need a grown man. Sit down,
son. Sit down. How old are you, son? Twenty. Where's your ID?
Sit down, sit down. Come on, Brother Jonathan. No,
get up, get up, get in your seat. I'm gonna keep this guy, I'm
gonna keep him awake tonight. Come on, preacher, come on, you up. Y'all
boys have a seat right there. I appreciate the volunteer,
fellas. Amen. Take your Bibles tonight, turn
with me to the book of Micah, chapter number six. Micah, chapter
number six. Amen, Micah, chapter number six. Micah 6, amen. So there's minor prophets, amen. You get past Daniel over there
and you begin to fall into these others, you'll find Micah right
in there somewhere. Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, you find it,
amen. Anybody got it? Micah chapter
6. Verse number one. I intentionally
picked Brother Jonathan because he's been driving for 24 hours.
I got to keep him awake, amen? If he's going to go to sleep,
he's going to go to sleep with y'all looking at him. Verse number
one of Micah chapter number six, what's the first word there?
Hear. The rest of y'all ain't got it or y'all just sleeping
too? Anybody drive 24 hours besides Jonathan? All right, what's the
first word? Hear. What's the second word? Hear ye now what the Lord saith. Arise, contend thou before the
mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. Hear ye, O mountains,
the Lord's controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth.
For the Lord hath a controversy with his people, and he will
plead with Israel. God's got a controversy with
Israel, his people. I'd say today we can make direct
application that God's probably got some controversy with his
people today, the church. He said in verse number three,
oh my people, what have I done unto thee? And wherein have I
wearied thee? Look what he says here, testify
against me. For I brought thee up out of
the land of Egypt and redeemed thee out of the house of servants. And I sent before thee Moses
and Aaron and Miriam. O my people, remember now what
Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor
answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal, that ye may know the
righteousness of the LORD. Wherewith shall I come before
the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? Shall I come before
him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the
Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands
of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for
my transgression the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? They see that they're guilty
before the Lord and want to know what they need to do. And he said
in verse 8, He hath showed thee, O man, what is good, and what
doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly and to love
mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God. The Lord's voice cried
unto the city and the man of wisdom shall see thy name, hear
ye the rod and who have appointed it. Let's ask the Lord to help
us tonight, amen. Amen. Brother Jonathan, how about pray
for us, brother? Heavenly Father, we thank you,
God, for this evening once again. Thank you, Lord, for your blessing.
And I pray, Lord, you help us, Father, to be able to approach
the throne room tonight boldly. And I pray that you bless the
man of God, use him, and fill him with your spirit. Father,
we pray that you try not to impress anybody here tonight. Help us,
Lord, to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit. I pray, God,
to do what needs to be done here this evening. I pray that you
touch your man now, use him, Lord, fill him. Bless Brother
Jordan. Bless the woman in the Baptist church. Thank you, Lord,
for his faith. Help us, Lord. Amen, amen. We're going to use
these men in just a moment, amen, to take the stand against the
Lord, if you will. Amen. This will be our courtroom
setting. He said in verse number one, he said, hear now what the
Lord said. He said, arise. The judge is
coming to his room. He wants all to arise, all stand.
He is here, a man on trial, if you will. The Lord said in verse
3, O my people, what have I done to thee? And wherein have I wearied
thee? He said, what did he say? Testify
against me. Testify against the Lord. Amen. Take the stand against God. Amen. Before Israel takes the stand
and what he asked for in verse 3 to testify against him, God
wants to remind them of some evidences of what he has done
for them. He said in verse 4, I brought
thee out of the land of Egypt. He said to testify against me,
but before you do, I want to remind you of a couple of things.
I want to present, if you will, some evidence to the courtroom,
amen. Hey, before you take the stand,
can I remind you of a few things of what the Lord has done for
you? He said, Israel, I want you to take the stand and testify,
but before you do, hey, be swift to hear and slow to speak. Hey,
watch what you got to say against me. He said, hey, you know what
our problem is a lot of times? We usually run off at the mouth
before we weigh out all the evidences. We get ourselves in a lot of
trouble speaking up against the Lord or speaking up against God's
people or maybe speaking up against the church because we don't like
the way things are going. The Lord said, testify against
me. He said, can I remind you first
of all that I brought thee out of the land of Egypt. He said,
let me present a few evidences before I call Israel, first of
all, to the stand to testify. Hey, I want to present some evidences.
I want to bring some chains in here. Hey, these chains represent
what held Israel in bondage. Hey, the whip, sir, I want to
present to the evidences what beat them across the back when
they disobeyed Pharaoh, when they were making a kingdom for
him. A few bricks, I want to... Present
to the courtroom today. These are what they labor with
or maybe a little straw when they have grumbled and complained
How how how they were in bondage on the Pharaoh? Let me present
some evidence to you. First of all what you've done
against the Lord He said I want to present a rod to you today
That rod is what the man of God carried that brought you out
of Egypt Hey the one that God used to come down when you cried
when you're mumbling and complaining God said I'll bring you up out
of your bondage area. I want to bring a couple of evidence
put to the courtroom Maybe that don't mean much to you and I,
the evidence, so maybe can I put a twist on the evidence today?
Hey, maybe it might be a dope bag. Maybe it might be a bottle
of beer, amen. Hey, some evidence of the things
that held you in bondage. Hey, maybe your baptismal certificate
where it made you feel a little righteous, amen. Hey, maybe a
faithful Sunday school pin that you wear. Hey, let me present
the evidence before you. These can't deliver you, amen. Hey, hey, hey, Israel, hey, let
me present to you, I want to bring forth a doorframe. What's
the doorframe remind you of? It's the one that's got the blood
on the top and the blood on both sides. Hey, hey, were you in
bondage and the blood was shed that brought you out? Before
you testify against God, let me remind you of a couple of
things. And you testify against the Lord. He said, Israel, will
you please take the stand? First person I want to call to
the stand tonight is Israel. Amen. Come here, Israel. You
take the stand, if you will. Amen. I'm going to call you to
the stand. I'm going to ask you a few questions tonight. Amen.
As God asked Israel in this passage, he said, and what have I done
unto thee? Please be seated. Amen. Do you
swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but
the truth, so help you God? Hey, will you tell the people
who you are? Israel. Israel, amen. Israel, God's chosen
people, amen. Amen. Israel, let me ask you
a couple of questions tonight, amen. While you're taking the
stand, could I ask you a few things today? Hey, where in is
God with you? Where did He weary you? Just
as I thought, no answer, amen? Hey, maybe I can ask you a couple
of things like this, amen? Hey, where has God wearied you,
amen? Hey, maybe I can remind you of
a few things. Hey, did He weary you when He
gave you bread from heaven? I mean, did that really weary
you? You want to testify against the Lord how bad He's been to
you? Hey, who was it that brought your bread out of heaven? Amen.
Hey, it was God, wasn't it? Amen. Hey, who was it, amen,
when you grumbled and complained? Hey, He brought water out of
the rock. It's God that brought it out, wasn't it? Amen. Hey,
you want to testify against the God about how bad He's been to
you? I believe you maybe forgot how good He's been to you. Amen.
Hey, maybe I ask you, amen, who was it, amen, that brought quail
when you didn't like the bread? When you grumbled and said, that
ain't enough, and God said, let me give you a little bit more?
Amen. Hey, is it really weird you just bringing bread out of
heaven and giving you water when you was thirsty and giving you
some meat when you wasn't satisfied with the bread? Is it weird,
amen? Hey, where has God done you wrong?
What has he done to you, amen? Hey, maybe I should ask you this.
Mr. Israel, amen, hey, where'd you
get the clothes on your back from? The Lord gave them to you,
didn't he, amen? Can I remind you, amen, I don't
know if you really look down lately, but they ain't even worn
out. You've had them a long time, amen, and they ain't even went
bad. You ain't even had to go back to Sears and Roebuck and
get you some more, have you, amen? Ain't had to visit Belk
lately, amen? Hey, God gave you clothes on
your back, they ain't even worn out, amen. Hey, why would you
grumble against a God like that, amen? Hey, ain't he been good
to you? Amen. Hey, hey, let me ask you
this, amen. Hey, who was it that led you
through the wilderness with a pillar of cloud by the day and a pillar
of fire by night? Who is it that's guided you all
your life, amen? Hey, hey, why can't you serve
a God like that, Israel? What seems to be your problem?
He said, where in have I wearied thee? Amen. What have I done
against you, amen? All I've done is good to you
and you want to grumble and complain against me, amen. Where are you
at? I mean, where did he wear you?
What's that? Oh, oh, the 40 years of wandering?
That's where he wears you at? That's why you want to bring
an accusation against God because he brought you 40 years through
the wilderness until some of you died off? That's your complaint? Hey, can I ask you, amen, the
reason why you've been wandering 40 years, is that not because
of your own disobedience? I mean, that's your complaint?
God, you're telling me God wearied you by making you wander in the
wilderness? Hey, hey, wasn't there a shorter route that God
would have took you over there if you'd have listened to Him?
Hey, was it you that sent out the spies to ask if it was a
better way and God done told you to go? And then when you
did send out the spies, He brought a good report and you went against
it? Hey, but you're saying He wearied you because He made you
wander around? That's the problem? Oh, oh, oh,
no, no, no, not that, really. Hey, God's really been good to
you, ain't He? He wearied you. Where'd He wear you? Oh, he wearied
you through the serpents he sent to kill you. That's where he
done you wrong? Can I remind you, Israel, that
the serpents came out because of your mouth? I mean, your God
didn't really want to have to afflict you in chasing you like
that. Hey, but it was your disobedience that brought it to you, amen?
Hey, you want to take the stand against God and testify against
Him and really all your complaints hold no water because you brought
it on yourself? That's your complaint? Hey, is
that right? Wherein he wearied you? Oh, oh,
oh, he wearied you by allowing you to have one battle after
another, huh? That's what wore you out? The
trials and tribulation of your life? Hey, hey, can I ask you,
Mr. Israel, you're saying that the trials of life is what wearied
you and all the battles that you faced with the Canaanites
and the Hittites and all the other heights, amen? Hey, hey,
it's maybe because you had so many battles and God allowed
them to rise up against you because you wouldn't listen to him? Hey,
but that's your complaint? God's been bad to you? And all
he's done has been good to you? And you want to take the stand
and testify against God? And all God's done is send his
man down to deliver you? Hey, took care of you? He's fed
you? He's took care of your family?
And the troubles that's come in your life? If you'd tell the
truth to everybody here today, you brought it on yourself. It's
your fault, ain't it, amen? Wherein have ye wearied thee?
Amen, oh, oh, oh, oh, you tell him he wearied you by making
you a stranger in a strange land? I believe the facts prove the
point that your accusations really hold no water. You really have nothing to say.
It really amounts to any truth. You can be seated. Where and have I wearied thee
in Where has God done you wrong? Let me call the first, the next
man to the stand. Amen. This is Mr. Worldly Christian. Will you please take the stand? Oh, just as I thought you think
it's funny. When you're worldly and live
like the devil, you think it's a joke. That's really the problem
here, ain't it? You think you can hide behind
your laughter, but in your heart you're really sorrowful. That's
the way it is when you get worldly, amen? It's a joke to be worldly
in church nowadays. You can tell when he took the
stand how he acted in that sarcastic laugh. Hey, would you state your
name to everyone today? Worldly Christian, amen. Let
me ask you something, Mr. Worldly Christian, amen? Or maybe
should I just give you a couple of facts before I ask you a couple
of questions? Has not God given you a perfect
book? I mean, it's perfect, right? Without error? Inspired and God-breathed,
right? Hasn't He given you one? Hasn't
that same God given you the Holy Ghost to dwell inside of you
after He saves you? To lead you and guide you and
protect you and be there and comfort you? Has He not given
you that? Hey, is this God that you're
going to testify against today, hey, has He not given you a good
church to go to? Good one, ain't it, amen? Good
preacher, amen? Good people, love the Lord? Good singing,
old timey worship? Is He not giving you one of them?
Has that God that you're going to maybe try to prove to us where
He's done your own, has He not given you the power of prayer?
Has He not given you direct access to the throne room tonight? Can't
you come to Him anytime you need to? Hey, hey, hey, hadn't He
give you some good brothers and sisters to help you out along
the way? I mean, are we talking about the God that you're going
to testify against? Has He not given you these great benefits?
Hey, maybe, maybe, well, maybe I ask you this, okay, man. He's
given you a perfect book as you admit. Hey, maybe the problem
is, if you want to admit or not, probably not, because you're
worldly and want to try to blame it on everybody else. It's not
the problem that you don't read that book He gave you? I mean,
boy, you begin to bring accusations against your God, amen? And wouldn't
it be true to say you really don't read it daily like you
should? You pick it up haphazardly? You don't read it, amen? You
haphazardly even bring it to church when you do come to church.
And wouldn't the truth be told today, amen, a worldly Christian,
that the Holy Ghost God's given you, don't you find yourself
grieving Him more than you do following Him? Don't you quench
him a little bit too much. Amen. He's there and God wants
to lead you and guide you, but maybe the reason all the affliction
of the Holy Ghost on your life is because you are kicking against
the pricks. Yeah, that same God that gave
you a good church. Hey, hey, before I go too far
with this thing, wouldn't you have to admit that you haphazardly
even go to that church? I mean, He's given you a good
one. You admitted that He did, but wouldn't the truth be the
reason why you're so worldly is you really have to show up.
You just come when you want to or maybe when it's convenient
to you, amen. Hey, God's been so bad to you, but He's given
you so many benefits, but the truth is held today that, hey,
you're not taking advantage of the benefits. Maybe that's why
you're Mr. Worldly Christian, amen. Hey,
wouldn't the truth be that, hey, God has given you the power of
prayer, but you have the time to pray. Yeah, you really don't
talk to him that much, do you? Maybe that's part of the problem,
Eggman. Hey, yeah, God's given you some good people, as you
have to admit. Good brothers and sisters all over the country
to help you. Iron sharpeneth the iron, so a brother sharpeneth
the countenance of another, Eggman. But wouldn't the truth be, if
you tell the truth, that you probably hang out more with worldly
people than you do God's people? Maybe that's some of your problem,
amen. Maybe that's where it come from, right? Hey, hey, well let
me ask you, Mr. worldly Christian, why can't
you serve him? I mean, where in is he weary thee? Where has
he done you wrong? Amen. Oh, oh, oh, what's that?
You can't serve him because you got family problems? Oh, that's
what it is? Hey, wouldn't the truth be, amen,
that you're saying you got family problems, why you can't serve
God? Wouldn't the truth probably show that y'all don't pray together? You got a lot of family problems,
but wouldn't the truth be the reason why you probably got a
lot of your family problems? Because the family that prays
together stays together, and you don't pray together with
your family. Hey, wouldn't the truth probably show you got so
many family problems? It's probably because, hey, you
can answer for yourself or not, amen. Hey, it's probably because
you don't have family all the time. Y'all don't read together
and pray together. But you got family problems.
I mean, who would wonder why? Hey, everybody ought to expect
to have family problems if you won't do the things God's told
you to do as a family. I mean, you want to bring accusations
that I can't serve God because I got family problems. But the
truth is, a lot of your family problems you brought on yourself.
Wouldn't you have to admit? Y'all don't go to church like
you should together. Amen? Hmm. So why aren't you serving? Oh,
oh, because y'all got financial problems? That's what it is?
Hmm. Well, let me ask you, Mr. Worldly
Christian, you can't serve the Lord because of your family problems,
and you can't serve him because of your financial problems. Maybe,
I mean, I'm not trying to put words in your mouth or not, but
maybe the reason why you have so many family problems, could
I ask you, do you tie it? I mean, you got financial problems,
but you're holding back on God what's right? And you expect
God to bless what you got when you won't even give Him what's
right? Hey, hey, hey, and you want to say, hey, I can't serve
the Lord because I ain't got no money, but the truth be, hey,
probably a lot of it is you don't even tie. And you want God to
bless your disobedience? Hmm. You've got financial problems,
Mr. Worldly Christian. Have you ever
asked the Lord to help you with them? Instead of taking jobs
that'll take you out of church, that cause you to lose your love
and fire for God, and put your family in a place where they
don't go to church, and then destroy them, which goes back to the
family problems you got. I mean, have you ever... I think somewhere
in the book it says that your God that saves you owns the cattle
on a thousand hills. I mean, I would say that He's
able to give you exceedingly abundant above what you can ask
or think. Have you really asked Him about your financial problems?
Have you inquired in the Lord what He thinks you ought to do
about them? But you want to take a stand and testify about how
bad God's been to you and how you can't serve Him? And the
truth be, you brought a lot of it on yourself, just like Mr.
Israel did. Oh, you can't serve Him because
you've got your feelings hurt? That's what it is? Let me ask you something, Mr.
Worldly Christian, for you to be a saved man, you have to know
a little bit about the sufferings of your Savior. But you can't
serve him because your feelings got hurt. How far did he go when
his feelings got hurt? How much did he put up with when
he was being beat and slapped and spit upon? But you can't
serve because you got your feelings hurt. That's your reason, huh? Wouldn't you have to admit that,
hey, your guy went through way more than anybody's ever went
through, but he didn't quit. But you can't serve him, huh?
Let me ask you, oh, oh, oh, you can't serve him because there's
too many hypocrites. That's your excuse? That's why you don't
serve the Lord? That's why you don't go to church
because there's hypocrites? Let me ask you, Mr. worldly Christian,
you can't serve him because the hypocrites, hey, do you still
go to Walmart? You do? So you're telling me
there ain't no hypocrites there? So you can still go there, but
you know, you can't go to church because there's hypocrites. So
there's no hypocrites at Walmart? Huh. Let me ask you, Mr. worldly Christian, there's no
hypocrites at the bar you go to? Since you got out of church and
went back the way of the world? There's no hypocrites there,
right? Because your excuse is, I can't go to church and serve
the Lord because there's hypocrites. Any hypocrites in the bar? Hey,
hey, we're just breaking it down a little bit simpler to you.
Hey, you do work, don't you? I mean, thank the Lord, amen,
you got worldly, but you're still holding a job. There's something
good going on in there. A lot of them, when they get to that
point, it ain't work, neither. But at least I commend you for that,
amen? Hey, but let me ask you, you're saying you can't serve
the Lord because there's too many hypocrites. Are the hypocrites on the job?
Oh, yeah. They gossip all the time, don't
they? Tell filthy jokes. But you ain't quit work yet,
have you? But you quit church because of hypocrites. Is that
what you're telling me? That's why you testify against
the Lord and you can't serve him because he's hypocrites?
Oh, I did, I did, yeah. I think the truth begins to show
itself. So why don't you serve him? Oh, you can't serve him because
you fell into some sin? You made a mistake? Is that why
you can't? That's why the shame's come upon
you because of the disobedience and things you've done and now
everybody in church knows about it? Let me ask you, Mr. Worldly Christian,
is your God not able to forgive you if you confess it? Is he
not willing to wipe it clean? He that confesseth the sin and
forsaketh, shall he not prosper? I mean, ain't your God still
there with arms stretched out wide to take you in if you'd
come back? But you're telling me you can't serve him because
you failed? You made a mistake somewhere? I mean, I don't know,
but hard for me to find that the God of this Bible, amen,
throws away people like that. But you can't serve him because
you failed him. Did he not tell you what he wanted
out of you? To walk humbly before him and serve him? But you want
to testify against him, huh? No further questions, you can
be seated. Next person I'm gonna call to
the stand is a sinner on his way to hell. Would you take the
stand? Would you state your name? Center
headed for hell. Let me ask you, Mr. Center, why
haven't you got saved yet? I mean, didn't the God of the
universe come and shed his blood for all mankind? Is he not willing
that any should perish, that all should come to repentance?
But you're still lost? Why haven't you got saved? Oh,
what's that you said? There are too many hypocrites
in church. Mr. Senator, may I remind you
that there are hypocrites everywhere, but the God that wants to save
you, he's never done anything wrong. There's never been a vile thing
out of his mouth and never a vile thing in his thoughts He's been
sinless and perfect. Amen, but you won't get saved
because there's hypocrites. Hey, hey, can I can I can I remind
you? Mr. Senator? Hey, hey God's the one
that does the saving and not the hypocrites that you know
But you won't get saved because there's hypocrites. Oh Oh, what's that you you won't
get saved because you can't live it. That's what it is. That's
your excuse. I Well, do you know, Mr. Senator, maybe you don't and
probably not, amen, with that kind of accusation against the
Lord, is you won't get saved because you can't live it and
you wait for everything to get right in your life, then you'll get
called on the Lord. Hey, can I tell you, Mr. Senator, that
you can't live it? As a matter of fact, the God that wants to
save you, He's never required you to live it. You know what
the God of that Bible says? He'll live it in you. Amen. Hey, Galatians 2 and 20 said,
I'm crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me. And the light which I now live
in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me
and gave himself for me. Hey, the God of the Bible will
live and move inside of you and he'll help you live it, amen.
But you're telling me you can't get saved because you can't live
it. You're waiting to get all your ducks in line. Hey, hey,
what is that? You won't get saved because you're
not ready. That's your excuse? I've heard
all these excuses before, Mr. Senator, and it's been through
many a miles. Hey, but you know, the truth is, you'll never be
ready. Matter of fact, the Bible tells me God's ready to forgive.
Amen? God's ready. He's just waiting
on you to call. Amen? Hey, you know you ain't gotta
go to hell? You got a lot of reasons why you won't be saved,
but the truth is, hey, God's made a way, and if you'd call
on Him, He'd save you despite yourself. But you can't be saved. So Mr. Senator, you're telling
me that you'd rather go to hell? Oh, what's that, you don't believe
in hell? Oh. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Not only do you
don't believe in it, if I try to convince you of it, you and
your buddies are gonna party down there, right? Yeah, that's
what y'all gonna do. Could I tell you, Mr. Senator,
you're a fool. There ain't no partying in hell. They ain't
nothing but weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. And God
loved you so much that he came to this whole world and died
for you and has been beckoning you and convicting you and drawing
you and probably you got a grandma, grandma or family member that's
been pleading God on your behalf that you'd be saved, but you're
kicking against today, man. You can be seated. Last one I want to call to the
stand is Mr. Faithful Saint. Would you please
take the stand? Would you tell everybody your
name? Faithful Saint. Faithful Saint. Amen. Mr. Faithful Saint, can I ask
you a question? Have you heard all these accusations
against your God? Yes, sir. How does that make
you feel? Disbelief. Disbelief? Bothers
you to hear people talk about your God like that, don't it?
Not that it kind of makes you proud or anything, but the truth
is it kind of breaks your heart, don't it? Yes, sir. That people
would talk about your God like that as good as he's been to
you. Yes, sir. Let me ask you, Mr. Faithful Saint, when did
you get saved? 1985. 85? Where were you? Tallahassee,
Florida. Tallahassee Safari, Florida,
at a church home, at a church service. After the service, Sunday
night altar call, God was dealing with you and you came forward
and asked the Lord to come in your heart. Let me ask you, Mr. Faithful
Saint, have you really ever found anything any better than that
day? Ain't a thing better than that, is it? Best thing to do
is to be saved, ain't it? Ain't nothing like it, mister.
You'd have to say, Mr. Faithful Saint, that he's always
been faithful in you. He's been good to you, hasn't
he? I mean, would you like to tell everybody a little bit of
something about him? He's been real good. Thank you. Every day. Every day? Every day. He's heard
every cry? Yes, sir. Been with you at every trial?
Every trial. Amen. Always been there? Yes,
sir. Never done you wrong? No, sir. The truth would be that
if there's ever been any wrong, it's been on you, not on him,
right? That's right. There ain't nothing like serving that kind
of God, is there? He's a good God, ain't he? There ain't nothing
like him in the world. Amen. Hey, if you could, you'd
probably wish everybody had what you got, don't you? You wish
everybody was saved. I mean, that's why you witness
like you do, right? Hand out tracts, tell people
about the Lord. There's something down inside of you you never
got ever since they saved you, ain't it? I mean, not that you
think you're better than anybody else. You're just glad how good
God's been to you, right? He's a good God, ain't He? He ain't
never worried you, is He? He ain't never done you wrong,
has He? Amen. The only times you've ever probably
even had the inclination to think the way some of them was is probably
when you maybe slipped a little bit in your life. But he's been
faithful to bring you back, ain't he? Never thrown you away, has
he? He's a good God, ain't he? You really got nothing bad to
say against him, do you? You can be seated, ain't you? He said, where have I wearied
thee? He said, testify against me. You know the truth is told
today that there's nothing like God? And you know what? There's probably many people
in this building tonight that you could probably stake the
stand in one of those seats. Where you at tonight? All rise. You can be seated, fellas. I appreciate
it. Preacher, you come. He's able to forgive. I'll tell you, God has never
done me nothing but good. And as I'm thinking about that
message, I can say this, I know I've wearied him. I know I weary
him a lot. And his faithfulness never fails.
His grace is always there, his blood's always available. Buddy,
he's a good God. Amen, maybe you just need to
come tonight and thank God for how good he's been to you, how
faithful he's been. He's a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Amen. Amen. Well, let's pray tonight.
Let's just remain with our heads bowed.
