Why did God hate Esau? Part 5

Well, this will now be the final message of this series, and it has been
a very interesting study for myself. And one thing that I have learned
again is that even though our God was angry with Esau, and was
angry with Edom, we see again the longsuffering of God from His
word, as the words of 2 Peter 3:9 says;
The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count
slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should
perish but that all should come to repentance.

God gave Esau an entire lifetime to repent. God gave Edom over a
thousand years to change their ways. Being longsuffering towards them
so that none would parish but that all would come to repentance.
