Unbelief vs. Belief

Jesus' own townspeople in Nazareth rejected him as a prophet or Messiah and Jesus marveled at their unbelief. In contrast to these unbelievers, many in the Gospel records had faith in Christ and thus were blessed in many profound ways. Christians are called and commanded to believe the Word of God and hold it true and good. Many significant blessings attend those who believe the Word of God.
