Lay Aside Pride

When Jesus meets a rich and accomplished young man, rather than quickly receive the man, Jesus confronts the man's pride in his ability and wealth. Seeing this, we should lay aside our self-importance before God and come to him empty handed, ready to receive what he gives and serve in the ways he designs.
