Whom the king delighteth to honor

Previously Haman had boasted about all the abundance he had amassed and how the king just kept right on promoting him. He had also complained that all that meant nothing so long as his enemy (Mordecai) was alive. His wife had quickly concocted a plan to get rid of Mordecai and give Haman peace of mind. Now all he had to do was to get permission to kill Mordecai. However his plans were about to be side tracked by a previous debt and the king's desire to make it right.
