Vignettes of Faith

This morning I want to take the theme which the Apostle opens Ch. 11 with, FAITH and then rightly connects faith to "believing in the promise." This is why faith presents us with a spiritual reality of the person who is united to Christ, has been regenerated and responds to what he or she sees to be true of Christ and responds by placing their faith, their trust, their hope in Him. What did faith look like in the lives of the OT believers, how was it manifested, and what are we to learn about faith, even as we seek to evaluate whether or not we have it and live by it?
