The Resurrection and The Life
Series Heidelberg Catechism
We live and breath as those who know that better things are coming. We are a people committed to love and good deeds, knowing that our labors are never in vain, and God will reward those who are faithful to the end. Faith and faithfulness are connected, for we read that faith without works is dead. Knowing that we have been called to be faithful, it is essential that we take comfort in the reality that heaven awaits the saints of God, and that one day our bodies will be resurrection, imperishable and we will dwell with Christ in glory forever. In order to be faithful now, we must know and be reminded of our eternal inheritance - that we might endure with joy, suffer with hope and persevere to the very end. Let us then examine where our hope lies in the midst of a broken and devastated world.
