Israel's Righteous Remnant Part II: The Root of Blessing

The root of blessing is a concept from Scripture that is often misunderstood. The root that branches are grafted onto in Paul's analogy from chapter 11 is the position of blessing. The olive tree is not Israel, and the olive tree is not the Church. Rather it is the place of blessing in God's economy. From this passage we see that the Gentile Church is in the place of blessing, because of their faithfulness and Israel's unfaithfulness.
