I want to welcome those of you that are joining us online. Before we get started, though, I want to let you know that I'm going to take some time off and I'm fine. I'm okay. I'm just going to take some time off to be with my family. I'm not going anywhere. You know that I don't go anywhere. I was telling somebody the other day, I go home. I go to church and I go home. I go back to church and I go home. So anyway, I'm just going to spend some much needed time with my family. My son's home for the summer and just want to enjoy having him home. And in my absence, you'll be in the very loving and capable hands of Pastor Leitu and Pastor Mac, both of whom will be filling in for me. See, here's the thing, you guys, and I hope you don't take this wrong, but you can find another pastor, but my family cannot find another me. Right? So I have assistant pastors, but my family doesn't have assistant me's. That's, anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking with it. So the dates will be from this Thursday, June 8th through Sunday, July 9th. And for online visitors, those who make travel arrangements and come to visit and I'm not here, I feel so bad about that. So what we're going to ask you to do is just to kindly email us through one of our websites and our amazing staff will let me know and we will make every effort to reach out in any way that we can because again, I'm on island. I'm not going anywhere. I'm not going to tell you where my address is or my phone number for that matter, but I'll be here. But you do know, you know too much then. So anyway, just please know that we will do whatever we can while you're here visiting during that time. But here's the thing, I'm really looking forward to our prayer meeting on Tuesday night. I will be here and I'm actually going to share a little bit concerning prayer. We're going to do something just a little bit different for this prayer meeting. We will still have the prayer lists available, but I do want to take a little bit of time And just share with you some thoughts, things that are on my heart concerning prayer, and just heart to heart, from my heart to yours, Tuesday night. It'll begin at seven. Capone will start it off, Lord willing, with a couple of songs, and then I'll share for a little bit. And then we're going to open it up, and as the Holy Spirit leads, and we're just going to pray. Imagine that. At a prayer meeting, we're going to pray. So I really encourage you to make plans to come and join with us 7 p.m. this Tuesday. All right, First John, Chapter 2. Our text is verses 18 through 20. I'll ask you to stand. If you're able, you can follow along as I read. If not, where you're seated is fine. The Apostle John is continuing in his writing, inspired by the Holy Spirit. And verse 18 says, Dear Children, this is the last hour. And as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many Antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us, but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. But, verse 20, You have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. Let's pray. If you would please join with me. Father, thank You so much for this portion here in Your Word. This is a very powerful passage, and it's here for a reason. And Lord, we now want to give You our undivided attention so that You can show us what it is that You want us to see and speak into our lives, that which You want us to hear. And when You do, Lord, we want to have ears to hear and hearts to receive, not just hear, but take heed to this, Your Word concerning this, the last hour. Oh Lord, thank You. May this bring much needed hope and encouragement to many, especially those who are really struggling and hurting. Those that brought with them to church just such deep, painful trials and struggles. And those online that are just so weary and hanging on by a thread, Lord. This is why you inspired the Apostle John to write this. It's for us to be encouraged by. So Lord encourage us now we pray, in Jesus' name, Amen and Amen. You can be seated. Thank you. So the title I chose for today's teaching is How We Know This Is The Last Hour. As I had mentioned last week, our verse by verse study through First John was again this week going to be in concert with the prophecy update. And the reason is, is that the text before us here in this chapter, particularly today, is arguably among the most revealing in all of Scripture concerning how it is that we can know that this is the last hour. And by the way, God wants us to know. And as we're about to see, the Apostle John, by the Holy Spirit, is going to focus in on three specific ways that we can identify when the last hour is. And this is probably as good of a time as any to mention. And I did address this in first service because the question is, Pastor JD, with all due respect, didn't John write that this is the last hour 2000 years ago? So Wait, it's still the last hour 2000 years later? Yeah. What do you mean? Well, if you'll kindly allow me to, I'll do my best with the help of the Holy Spirit to explain why that is. Every generation, by God's design, has lived with that anticipation, by God's design, that the Lord could return at any time. The Apostle Paul, remember First Thessalonians chapter four, the go to rapture passage, where the Apostle Paul writing to the Thessalonian church to try to encourage them because they were very discouraged, fearful by the way. He wanted to renew their hope and encouraged them. They were so discouraged and so afraid. And so what does he write to them? Hey, we who are alive and remain, the dead in Christ are going to rise first, but we who are alive and remain will be caught up, raptured up to meet the Lord and forever be with the Lord in the air. Therefore, encourage one another with these words. Why would he say encourage one another if they weren't discouraged to begin with? And oh, by the way, another question, rhetorical, is why would Paul say we 2,000 years ago? Wait, Paul, we who are alive and remain? You mean you thought that the rapture was going to happen in your lifetime? Yeah. That's why I said we who are alive and remain. by God's design, every generation living in anticipation of the soon appearing of Jesus Christ. Now, in our text, John, thankfully, by the way, is going to be very specific. See, he's going to tell us how we can know that this is the last hour. And he's going to give us three specific reasons which in order are number one in verse 18, the coming of antichrists and the antichrist. Number two in verse 19, the departing of those not knowing Christ And three, in verse 20, the anointing and discerning that comes from the Spirit of Christ. These are the three ways that we can know that this is the last hour. And all three become for us, and this is the intended purpose, of the text that's before us today is because God does not want us to be ignorant concerning Bible prophecy. I'm getting ahead of myself, but God wants us to know, because God wants us to be ready. He wants us to know. He's not trying to keep it from us. Well, let's talk about this first one in verse 18, the coming of antichrists and the antichrist. Please make this delineation between the antichrist and many antichrists. And really right out of the chute, John is making it clear in no uncertain terms that this is how we're going to know that it's the last hour. It's the litmus test, as it were. The ultimate test by which we know that this is the last hour is the coming of the Antichrist. Now, I know I freak everybody out when I say this, but I say this nonetheless, because if I freak you out, I freak you out in Jesus' name. the Antichrist is alive and well today. Are you freaked out? He hasn't been revealed yet. He cannot be revealed until the church is removed. But he's already alive behind the scenes, at the ready. And that's how we know this is the last hour. And not just that the Antichrist is alive, today in this last hour, but also with him the many antichrists, plural. Bear with me. This is a misnomer. I think last week we cleared up many misnomers. I told first service that I only had one misnomer today, so I'm going to give you a break. Plus you get a break from me. But I will be back. You're not getting rid of me after I've had some time with my family. But we have one misnomer here that we need to clear up today. Antichrist does not just mean against Christ. This is a misnomer. What do you mean? Antichrist does, yes, mean against Christ, but even more deceptively, Antichrist means in place of Christ. Now that just changes the whole complexion of this, doesn't it? So what John is saying is, here's how you're going to know it's the last hour. First, the Antichrist. But with the Antichrist, there will be this pronounced prevalence and increase of Antichrists. We're going to see the Antichrist spirit, the spirit of Antichrist. It's going to be pronounced and present at the time of the end. And I'll add another P word, proportionate. There, do you feel better? We're good at that, you know, as pastors coming up with things that start with a certain letter. So that was my three point sermon right there, pronounced prevalent and proportionate. What do you mean? Well, at the end of time, it's going to increase. Jesus, the Christ has been replaced with something in the place of Christ, Antichrist. And that's how you're going to know. That's going to be a marker, a characteristic of how you're going to be able to discern that it is the last hour. It will be marked by these antichrists in the church. They've replaced Christ. It's antichrist. Come on pastor, you're talking about the church. That's how you know it's the last hour. The Antichrists, not just against Christ, in the place of Christ. It's a different Christ. It's not Jesus Christ, it's Antichrist. It's not the gospel, it's a different gospel. They've put in the place of Christ a different false Christ, Antichrist, And it's in the church today, and this is how we will know that it is the last hour. It's the last hour of human history as we know it. We are witnessing this like never before. It's the likes of which we have never seen before. I don't want to do this, and I don't know that I need to do this. But the statistics bear out. The condition of the church today is exactly the description of the church of the last hour in Bible prophecy. Jesus isn't there. There's no Christ. There's Antichrist in the place of Christ. And that is what will mark the last hour. And what comes packaged with that is knowing, we're going to talk about this more in a moment, that the Antichrist already has to be on the scene. Again, he cannot be revealed yet. But you have the spirit of Antichrist and the Antichrist in the world in the last hour, which is how you will know it is the last hour. That's number one. Number two, in verse 19, the departing of those not knowing Christ. I have to confess, and I'm just going to kindly ask that you bear with me. This one in particular is really hard because it deals with those who never had a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to begin with. And what makes it so grievous is that at one time these people may have been with us, but never really belonged to us as evidenced by how they depart from us. I'm going to ask you to kind of think through this with me, but have you noticed that this is increasing exponentially in this the last hour? I mean, it's baffling. That's almost an understatement. It's mind boggling. How is that even possible? Well, they were never safe to begin with. Yeah, but look at what ensues when they depart from us, having once been with us. Well, what ensues is deception, confusion, division. Would you agree that those three mark the condition of the church in this the last hour of human history? And who's the author of Confusion, by the way? It's divide and conquer. Is the church divided? The Church of Jesus Christ today, is it divided? Is the Church of Jesus Christ today, I'm speaking broadly, is the Church of Jesus Christ today deceived? This is not a play on words. Maybe it is, whatever. Deceived people deceive people. Jesus said, Matthew 24, 24. I should probably know that. He says, you're going to know it's the last hour. Here's what will mark the last hour. There will be an increase in false Christs, antichrists, false prophets, false teachers that will be so deceptive that if possible, they would deceive even the very elect. And that's how you're going to know it's the last hour. And then it actually comports with two verses earlier. I should probably know that too. Verse 22 of Matthew 24, where Jesus says, that it's going to be so bad. Speaking of the tribulation, that were he not to interrupt and intervene and shorten those days, no human flesh would survive. That's how bad it's going to get. That's how deceptive it's going to be. So all it takes is for someone who doesn't know Jesus to hear about someone who professed Jesus who no longer does. Oh, well, you could just write the next chapter in that book. And it's exactly what the enemy is doing. And it's exactly what Bible prophecy is describing concerning the marker, the characteristic of the last hour of human history. You know, and I've shared this candidly, very openly, that it's just heartbreaking as a pastor, because, you know, life, life gets real. And The church is ill prepared because they've not been taught the Word of God. They've not been fed the bread of life. So when life hits and life hits, they crumble and cave, and they walk away. They depart. Now, if they're born again, they're saved. We'll see them in heaven. But they depart from the faith. I think about what Jesus had John write, this John, by the way, to the church in Philadelphia. You've not denied My name. You've kept My word, the inference being that there were those who did deny Him and depart from Him. walk away from Him. You've heard that saying, when the tough, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. That goes both ways, you know. When the going gets tough, those who don't know Christ get going. I didn't sign up for this. I didn't read the fine print on this. You know the terms of service. I know you do what I do, right? You don't read that, right? You just scroll down and, you know, I agree. Do you realize what you just agreed to, the terms of service, the fine print? Well, Jesus teaching the parable said it would be so. The seed upon, the soil upon which the seed falls, you know, the cares and the affairs of this life choke it out. It will never germinate or sprout. It never took root. There was no conception. There was, there was no birth. There was no germination and bearing of fruit. And it's sad. And so this marker will be so pronounced in the last hour as to be so prevalent And we're not talking about the world. Why would we expect the world to act like they're regenerated? They're not, they're lost. We're talking about the church. This is a general epistle to the church, to Christians. And they're scratching their heads going, you know, brother, so and so, uncle, auntie, and man, we broke bread together. We sat next to each other. We worshiped together. We studied the Word together. We sat under the teaching of God's Word together. We partook of communion together, and now they're gone. What's going on? Well, I'll tell you what's going on. It's the last hour. That's what's going on. And it's only going to get worse. And it even now is. Well, I'm wanting to save the remainder of our time for verse 20, and I think you'll see why here in a moment, because we're going to talk about the discernment from the Spirit of Christ. So you've got the Antichrist, those departing who never knew Christ. But then we have the discernment from the Holy Spirit of Christ. Now what John writes here, is fascinating for a number of reasons, chief of which is that he uses a different Greek word for no. Prior, he would use the Greek word ginosko, which is experiential knowledge. He does not use ginosko here. He uses a different Greek word, aido, which is not an experiential knowledge. It's an intuitive knowledge. Stay with me. So here's what John is saying, and notice the strength. Please don't miss the strength of verse 20. If you hear nothing else that this pastor is yelling at you about today, hear this. He says that you will know intuitively, intuitively by the intuition and discernment of the Holy Spirit that this is the last hour. How do you know? You just know that you know that you know, as we say, right? You know how you'd ask when you're young, you know, how do you know if you're in love? And of course the parents are going to do their best. Kids, listen, we're, as parents, we're just doing the best we can here. Okay. So we'll say something to you like, well, you just know that you know that you know. Oh, thanks a lot, Mom. Thanks a lot, Dad. That really helps. Well, how am I going to know? No, you're just going to know that you're going to know that you're going to know. Well, that's in a way what John is saying here. in the context of the last hour. But it's not just a, you're just going to know. You're just going to know. No, no. You're going to know because the Holy Spirit is going to give you the discernment. Can I just ask this question? Just not, don't answer it out loud. Of course, you'll interrupt my sermon, completely derail me. I'll have to start all over. You don't want that. Let me ask you this question. Um, do you have a sense, just kind of an intuitive discernment, like, man, I think this is it. That's what John is saying. I don't see how we've got much more time. That's what John is saying. I kind of think this is it. That's what John is saying in verse 20. Well, how do you know? How do you know for certainty, Pastor? Verse 20. That's how I know. It's not gnosco, no. It's aedo, no. It's an intuitive discernment. My spirit bearing witness with the Holy Spirit as a child of God, saying, I'm coming. This is it. And you know, because you have that unction, the discernment, the anointing from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has come upon you. And when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, ho, ho. That's all I'm going to say. One more time, ho. throughout Scripture. You read about when the Holy Spirit comes upon someone. And then what you read is ha after that. But okay, last one. That was the last time. What's my point? Here's my point. The Holy Spirit in this last hour is bearing witness with us as God's people. This intuitive discernment This is the last hour, and you know it. You know it. I've given you kind of the inside, that's what I'm looking for. Because see, we're tuned to the same tuning fork of the Holy Spirit. That's why there's almost this unison and at least this harmony of sorts amongst God's people. There's just this sense with Christians today that this is the last hour, and John is putting words to it, and he's using words like this intuitive knowledge. And again, I'll just mention it one more time, the strength of what he says, that this intuitive knowledge, you will know, you will know the truth. You will, because of the Holy Spirit, the discernment of the Holy Spirit, the unction of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is speaking to you in that. And when the Holy Spirit speaks, this is God, the Holy Spirit. the third person of the Trinity, God indwelling us, God in us, speaking to us. And He speaks in that still small voice. And you know, Edo, the intuitive know, because only God could know that about you. Let me say the same thing in a different way. You know how it is when you're in the Word of God, and it's the Spirit of God speaking through the Word of God to the people of God. And you're in the Word, and you're reading the Word, and it's like nobody but God knows that about me. That's this. So let's take that now, and let's put it in the context of our text today. only God knows that, and He's letting me know that, because He wants me to know that. Why does He want me to know that? So that I'll be ready. He doesn't want me to be ignorant. How many times, certainly in Paul's epistles, I mean, it's pretty strong in and of itself. Do not be ignorant. Did you just call me ignorant? No, Paul did. Do not be ignorant, brethren. In other words, you're being ignorant. Don't be ignorant. Who wants to be ignorant? When was the last time someone told you you were ignorant? I'm not going to answer that. You don't need to answer it either. But I mean, don't be ignorant. And here's why, because you don't have to be ignorant, because God has given you all that you need to know, and He wants you to know it. He wants you to know. He doesn't want you to be ignorant about these things, especially this, because this is quite the game changer, isn't it? Can I draw your attention to First Chronicles 12 verse 32? We're told in this verse very specifically that the men of Issachar were not only the ones who both understood and discerned, intuitively discerned by the Spirit of God, the times that they were living in, but they also knew what Israel should do. See, it's one thing to know have, that's what I was looking for, inside information. I'm not talking about the stock market, please. Okay, inside information. See, you've got the inside scoop, because you kind of happen to know people in high places. And the Holy Spirit lets you in on the inside information. So, but it's one thing to know it, but they not only knew it, they knew what to do about it. They discerned, intuitively knew that they were living in those times, in our respect, the last hour. They knew it. Now what are you going to do about it? Ah, Romans 13, verse 11, the Apostle Paul. What are you going to do about it? And do this, understanding the present time. Okay, you discern the times, you understand the times, you know it's the last hour. Now do this. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over. The day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently as in the daytime. I know this is strong and graphic, not in orgies, and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Wait, does that belong on this list? Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me that dissension, division, striving, conflict, and jealousy, and envy, and covetousness, and jockeying for position, and power struggles. within the church, rises to the level of being on the same list of orgies and sexual immorality and debauchery and drunkenness. Yeah. So sir, ma'am, this is the last hour. Our salvation is now nearer than when we first believed. And Yeah, Pastor, but this was 2000 years ago. Well, it's even nearer now then. I'm not trying to be cute. But in light of that, you understand the times you're living in. You understand this is the last hour. What are you going to do about it? Well, do this. First of all, you need to wake up. You know, when you're sleeping, you're unaware of what's happening around you. Even a light sleeper. I mean, you might be woken up more easily as a light sleeper. But you know those, first of all, if you are one of those really heavy sleepers that gets a really good night's sleep, I just want you to know I hate you, in Jesus name, of course. But I mean, I'm actually making a very profound point and illustration here. When you're sleeping, you have no idea what's going on. Right? That's what Paul's saying. In the spiritual sense, you are clueless about what's happening around you. You're like somebody that's in a deep sleep in the spiritual sense, and you are completely unaware of what's going on around you, and what time it is, by the way, too. When you're sleeping, you don't know what time it is, do you? Until the alarm clock goes off, then you know what time it is. Oh, I hate alarm clocks. Aren't you glad there's not going to be alarm clocks in heaven? No need. So that's what you need to do with what you know about this being the last hour. The hour has come. Wake up. Get ready. What do you mean? Well, put off those dirty pajamas. I'll just leave it at that. And instead, put on, verse 14, rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. There's no more time. There's no more time. That time has passed. Or maybe even five years ago, we lived in a world that was maybe more forgiving of such, but not now. not now, not in this hour, this the last hour. I want to close by sharing with you just a couple of final thoughts with respect to knowing that this is the last hour. And perhaps I could just preface it by telling you that I am convinced beyond any doubt, not reasonable doubt. I have absolutely no doubt that this is the last hour. And when I say that, I mean that, and the Lord knows my heart. This is it. This is it. This is how it ends. This is the way it ends. This is when it ends. This is the last hour. period. I have no question in my heart or my mind about that whatsoever. So what I want to do first is pose a question and kindly ask again, just think this through, please. Why would the God of the Word have so much written of this in the Word of God, if it weren't so. Why would well nigh one third of the Bible be prophecy, were it not that God wanted us to know this? Wouldn't it stand to reason that the reason we have this in our Bibles and one third of our Bibles as prophecy, could it be, and I hope this doesn't come off wrong. If it does, I don't mean for it to be. But could it be that God wants us to know that He's coming to take us out of this world? You know, Thursday night we partook together of communion, and I had never seen this before. I just want to share with you lastly, and it just hit me as I'm preparing Thursday for the Ezekiel teaching and then communion. I never saw that Jesus at the Last Supper had actually paralleled that 10th plague in Egypt. So the Israelites were to take the blood of a lamb, that had been inspected for four days, which was the number of days that Jesus was on trial, found to be without guilt. The lamb inspected for four days to be found without spot or wrinkle. They were to do three things, the Israelites. Number one, they were to take the blood of that lamb, put it on the doorposts of their house, top, base at the bottom, left, right, shape of a cross. foreshadow the cross, so that the angel of death would pass over them. There's another thing they were to do. They were to eat the body of the lamb in haste. And the bread, no leaven, no time. Why? Because here's the third thing. You're going to get the blood, to be safe and saved. And then you're going to eat the lamb, the body. You're going to partake of the lamb, the body. And then you're going to get ready because I'm taking you out quickly. If you go back into that narrative in Exodus of that plague, the 10th plague, and you read the details, what you're going to find there is urgency, urgency, urgency. Here's what's coming, but here's what you need to do, and here's what you need to know, because I'm going to take you out, and I'm going to do it very fast. So get the blood on the doorposts, eat the lamb. You've got the Lamb of God, the blood of the Lamb of God. You're saved. Now I'm getting you out. You ready to go? I was, I was ready to go after plague number two. You want to know why? The frogs. I take that very personally. After plague, and I still had eight to go. If I'm an Israelite, I'm ready. Can we go now? No, we have to wait. The 10th. You're going to take us out? Yeah. Are you ready to go? I was ready to go a long time ago. I'm taking you out of the Egypt of this world. And like we talked about last week in the prophecy update, he had to get the Egypt out of them before he could get them out of Egypt. And he's doing that with us, isn't he? So He's saying to us, listen, please listen. I beseech you, listen to Me. This is the last hour. This is the last plague. It's all going down now. I'm going to get you out. And I need you to know this. And here's what I need you to do about this. Let's go. I mean, I wish it could be more pastoral in how I say that, but This is a custom in my country. It's very, do you get that? Israelites, this is the last hour. This is the last plague. I'm letting you know, you know the truth. I'm taking you out. Be ready to go because it's going to happen very fast. Behold, Jesus said, I come quickly, quickly. It's going to happen suddenly. Don't look back. I'm taking you out. Just get ready. Get that blood. Man, if it's me, the hyssop, I'm getting the neighbor's hyssop branches and applying the blood. You got some extra blood? I missed a, I'm going to put a second coat on that part there. I'm being silly, I realize, but you get the point. One last thing, and again we were talking about this on Thursday night. It just, it just, you know how it is when it just, the Lord just opens something up to you, and it's just like a word fitly spoken for you. And it's like the Lord shows you something in His Word. You're just going I'll stop hyperventilating. How did I not see this before? Well, that's what happened. Do you know how fearful that must have been for them? Put yourself there just for a moment. Think about how terrifying that must have been. I mean, they're safe, but by faith, but their neighbors, Can you imagine the screams they would have heard when their first born son died next door? I know that tone and that moan. It comes from deep within the soul. When our daughter Noelle died, my wife would cry out in a tone I have never heard before, from the depth of her soul. They had to hear that. And how terrifying must that have been? I'm going somewhere with this. There's a lot of fear. I love how one said it. Bible prophecy is not to scare us, it's to prepare us. Now we have a choice before us. We can either be filled with hope or filled with fear. The choice is ours. So they had that hope that they were going to be taken out because they had the blood of the Lamb. They had the Lamb of God, the Passover Lamb. But how fearful must it have been? We are living in such fearful and dark times. But we're safe because we're covered by the blood. of Jesus Christ. And this is the last hour. I wonder the mom and the dad in that Israelite home with the blood and the lamb and the readiness to go out. I wonder if they had to take their child who was probably just terrified. Mommy, Daddy, what's happening? No, we're going to trust the Lord. He's going to take us out. He's going to, He's going to do it. We're going to trust Him. We have, we have the blood of the Lamb. We're going to be saved out of this. Yeah, but everybody's dying. I know. It's getting bad. I know. But we're going to be taken out. We're going to be saved. He's coming for us. Don't be afraid. Do not be afraid. I know I said one last thing, just please one last thing. See, you're not going to have me, so I'm going to just, you know, I'm going to take advantage of it. So, you know, you're going to get a break from me. So here we go. For those of you that were with us in our verse by verse study through the Book of Job, do you remember throughout that study, which was wow, right? how that, of course, in the very beginning, in the first chapter, Satan could not even touch a hair on Job's head, unless God allowed him to. I think God's allowed Satan to touch way too many hairs on my head, but that's besides the point. But notice that when God gave him the green light, that he just did it. Stay with me. He just did it. Do you know the only thing Satan can do to you is put fear in you? You know what's conspicuously absent from the record in the Book of Job is any mention of Satan coming to Job going, man, I'm going to kill all your kids. No, he just doesn't. Why do I point that out? I know there are some here today that are paralyzed by fear. And it's not from the Lord, because He's not giving you a spirit of fear. That's the enemy. See, if the enemy was going to do that, he would have already done it. And the enemy can't do it unless God allows him to. And God will never allow him to, unless it's ultimately for His glory and your good. And that's the only reason God allowed Satan to do that, to joke. And look at how it ended for Job. So that trial in your life, that, I mean, it is so scary what you're going through right now. And if the truth be made known, and only God knows this about you again, you're really starting to wonder if you're getting out of this one. Well, you are, either by rapture or rupture. Yeah, sorry. I don't know where that came from. But no, this is, this is really, this one's, this, this, yeah, God's delivered me before. But this one, I don't know. I don't know. Satan's right there going, yeah, I don't think He is. I don't think God's going to get you out of this one. And here's what it always starts off with, two words. You know these words very well. What if? And he just steps back. He just, what if? And you take it from there. And we do such a great job, don't we? We are so creative. I mean, we've got what ifs, aerial, narrow, 12 font, single spaced, volumes. What if, what if, what if we take it as far down the road as we possibly can? No, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. It's not fear, it's faith. Because see, if Satan is threatening you and trying to put a spirit of fear in you, he's lying to you, because if he could do that, he would have already done that. He did with Job. You never see anywhere where after Job, or after Satan gets the green light, he goes, ha, ha, ha. Job gets, he goes, what I'm going to do. No, he just doesn't. Do not be afraid. You've got the blood of the Lamb, nothing to fear. You've got the Lamb of God, nothing to fear. You're getting out and quickly. So you'd be encouraged. This is the last hour and we're almost done. We're almost done. And isn't it true that when we have that to look forward to, it makes whatever we're going through easier to get through. As scary and dark as it is, and even getting darker, knowing that you have a promise from the one who cannot break a promise. You have God's Word who cannot go back on His Word, that He is going to save you and rescue you from this dying world, if you have the blood of the Lamb. Last thing. It's going to be a question and then we're done. And thank you for your patience, by the way. How is it that we, I'm going to include myself, trust God for the eternal, but we can't trust God for the temporal? Think about that. We're trusting God in this last hour when that trumpet sounds to, in the twinkling of an eye, catch us up, rapture us up to meet Him in the air. But we cannot trust Him with that situation that we're in right now. Does that make sense? In other words, if God is going to do that for you, is there anything that He will not do for you? Paul asked that question, by the way. I totally plagiarized the Apostle Paul, just full disclosure. If God is unwilling to withhold His only begotten Son, to give to you. Is there anything He won't give to you? You're trusting God for that, but you can't trust God for that son, that prodigal son, that wayward daughter, that wife who's gone astray, that husband who is abusive, that marriage that's in shambles, the finances that are just completely gone. You can't trust God for that. You can't trust God for that. God's going to take care of you. God's going to take care of you. He's got a lot invested in you. In fact, it cost Him everything. And He purchased you. You are not your own, but purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. Capone, come on up. Why don't you stand up and we'll close in prayer. Thank You, Lord. So here we are, Lord, in the last hour. And how can we thank You enough for Your Word for us in this last hour? And we know it too. We know it. We know it. So Lord, what are we going to do? We're going to do that which You've commanded us and called us to do, understanding the hour in which we're living. And Lord, we're ready. We're ready for when You take us out. We've got the blood on the doorposts of our lives. We've partaken of the Lamb. We have You, Jesus, the Lamb of God. So we're saved. So Lord, thank You. And Jesus, lastly, please come quickly, Maranatha, in Jesus' name, Amen.
