Paul's Case for Free Justification

Paul began chapter three and chapter four with questions. In chapter three, discussing God's justice, he used a literary tool of arguing with an imaginary Jew. He returned to that method in chapter four. His theme is God's free justification of His elect. He presented eight arguments. He began with Abraham and concluded with Christ Jesus, who completed justification.
