When webcasting on Sermon Audio, you can simultaneously stream your content to other platforms, such as YouTube and Facebook. To do this, you'll first need to set up a multicast channel for each platform that you want to push your webcast to. To manage your multicast channels, navigate to the webcast's manager page and open the Configuration tab. There are two types of multicast channels, Integrated Channels and Custom Channels. Integrated multicast channels utilize your broadcaster account's connections, which can be configured from the connections page on your broadcaster dashboard. This is the simplest way to multicast to either YouTube or Facebook. If you've already connected your broadcaster account to either of these platforms for the purpose of cross-publishing your sermons, you should already be ready to multicast. You'll find these integrated channels at the top of the multicast channel list. If you've successfully connected to one of these platforms, you'll see this Connected indicator on the top right, showing what page or channel you can stream to. If you connected to YouTube or Facebook before June 2025, you may need to update your connection before you can multicast using these integrated channels. If you plan to multicast to platforms other than YouTube or Facebook, you'll need to use a custom multicast channel. To do this, scroll to the bottom of the multicast channel list and click Add Custom Multicast Channel. You'll be prompted to give your custom multicast channel a name and provide the stream URL and stream key associated with the account on the streaming platform you intend to multicast to. Once you've filled out the details, hit Save. Once your multicast channels are set up, you'll be ready to multicast the next time you go live. When your stream is running, open the Live tab of the Webcast Manager. You'll see a list of platforms under the Multicast controls, with a Start button for each of your configured channels. Hit these buttons when you're ready to start multicasting to each respective platform. You can also enable Auto Start for any of the channels in your list. When this toggle is enabled from the Configuration tab, the system will automatically start multicasting to those platforms when your live stream goes live on Sermon Audio.
