As For You, Continue

During times of chaos and wickedness, many look to the church and Christian leaders to respond, even direct their ministries, toward the injustices and wickedness of the world. None of this is new, and the church needs to respond wisely and prophetically. But, who dictates to the church what her response ought to be?
A faithful church is not measured by how it responds to the world but how it responds to Christ. 2,000 years ago, Paul instructs Timothy to "continue" in the main things, in the midst of a wicked world. We, too, must continue.
