Communion and Conscience

Love is to be foremost in the Christian life, and Christian love glorifies God in loving others. Paul points to the cautionary example of Israel in the Exodus, who did not glorify God, but rather fell into sin. He points to Communion as a picture of who we are, and also why it is wrong for Christians to participate in the religious rituals of non-Christians. Finally he points to the importance of respecting the consciences of other Christians in our conduct.
