Come To Know The Good Shepherd

John, unlike Matthew, Mark, and Luke does not use parables, but figures of speech. If Jesus were giving a parable, He would say, I am like a good shepherd. But using a paroimia, a wayside saying, or an allegory, Jesus says, I am the good Shepherd.
