The Cure for the Incurable

The children of Israel had reached a point as captives where their bondage had them in major trouble because of their sin, but God promised deliverance. God emphasized their problem. They were a terminal, incurable case. That's how sin affects our souls--they become grotesque and incurable, but God sees the wounded, incurable soul and offers to cure it through the Person of Jesus Christ.

In our society, people are held captive by thoughts and addictions. Sin holds people captive. Sin brings forth death.

The only way to be free from sin and bondage is through Christ...and when Christ sets you free, you will be free indeed.
