Daniel summoned – Daniel was trusted because he reflected the Holy God.

Dream – The purpose of the dream's events were to show the living that God is sovereign in the affairs of men.

Interpretation – God, in his mercy, desires repentance rather than judgment.

Fulfillment – Maintaining relationship with God requires humility and repentance.

Application – God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.
