Rights and Responsibilities

Dealing with the issue of eating meat sacrificed to idols, Paul points to the very important matter of the relationship of rights and responsibilities. He points out that while he has a right to be supported by the churches, he waived that right at Corinth out of love and because of his responsibility towards God. He further urges that to achieve anything good requires self-discipline.
