Ashamed of Him?

There is such a spiritual apathy in our churches today; we need to be challenged, but not driven to despair. We need to be provoked by the Word of God to live for Christ.

The leading cause of spiritual poverty amongst God's people today is not using the divine means to take in the Word of God. We let those things which we have heard slip. We need more meditation, prayer, and denial of ourselves, so we do not find ourselves spiritually impoverished.

Can we be ashamed of Him who has done and given so much to us?
