Living as Exiles on Earth

Peter's exhortation to his readers (and us) can be explained like this:
I. Conduct your lives in the fear of God.
II. Know that you were ransomed with Christ's precious blood.
III. Through Christ your faith and hope is in God.
The ransom price of Christ's shed blood for his people calls forth the response of worship, service, and joy.
