Main Sermon Points: [1] God is sovereign over all, therefore man's highest allegiance is to God Himself. [2] God has ordained a diversity of human governments with each sphere having prescribed functions, limitations, and powers. [3] Citizens, out of submission to God, are to be properly and prayerfully subject to the civil magistrates who govern them in regards to civil law and order.
