Growing Old, like Caleb

What do you want to be when you grow up? Most respond with a career choice or hopes of accomplishments or success. But what do you want to BE when you grow up? What kind of old man or old woman do you want to become? 85 year old Caleb is my role model of the kind of man I would like to one day be. He had an unshakeable faith in the power, promises, and presence of God. He exhibited an uncommon graciousness! He could have become bitter but he followed the Lord his God fully and saw each day as a gift from God. But he also possessed an indomitable spirit! Even at 85 he was up for new challenges. 'Give me this mountain', was his cry. No wonder he had a positive, spiritual impact on the next generation. I want to be like Caleb when I grow up! How about you?
