A. WHY SHOULD WE KILL SIN?

1. Sin will always be with us

2. Sin will constantly be active within us

Romans 7.21-23

3. Sin, if left alone, will take more and more ground

4. God gives His Spirit for the very purpose that we kill our sin

5. To neglect this work of killing sin is to impede the work of God's grace

B. HOW SHOULD WE KILL SIN?

by God's Spirit!

1. Only God's Spirit will make the work of killing sin work

Ezekiel 36.22-29

2. God's Spirit will do this by working in us what is contrary to our sin

3. God's Spirit will do this by bringing us into fellowship with Christ
