Welcome to Bible Believers Fellowship
and the ministry of bbfohio.com. I'm Pastor Greg, and I welcome
you to our current events update, and then our study in Micah chapter
7, verses 18 through 20, titled, Who is a God like unto thee? The conclusion of this two-part
message can be found at bbfohio.com, as we now begin with part one
of two. The current events update. Number
one, Israel's still at war. Today's date, 6-12-24, is that
correct? Day 250 or 249, according to
who you ask. 120 hostages still remain unaccounted
for, although 50 plus possibly considered deceased. No hippo
yawning from the audience. The Biden endorse, somebody give
him some coffee. I think it's done down there.
The Biden-endorsed ceasefire deal has been rejected by Hamas. You wouldn't really know that
from what a lot of the news media is saying, but that's what happened. Here's a young lady who's going
to explain it for us. Hamas doesn't care about Palestinians. They
care about killing Jews. And they don't care about Gaza.
They care about destroying Israel. And that's been clear for decades. I mean, that's just their entire
M.O. That's what they want. And Hamas
also, it's not just the IDF, but there's other reporting too
that shows that they put the hostages in civilian areas. They
were paying Palestinian families to guard these hostages in homes. So when the IDF goes in to rescue
the hostages, they have no choice but to go into civilian areas
and civilian homes to get these people out. And Carol Markowitz
put up an interesting tweet. are you you know really bright and a
you know how well and it's still in prison in russia so that's
that's something that we see every time that happens and that
i think that we can't so and the only way we're going to get
out was by being rescued and there were protests over the
weekend slamming israel for going in and rescuing these civilians
these people who have been kidnapped from music festival in October,
and as Stephanie was saying, yeah, the outlet that the journalist
who was keeping three men in his home on the payroll of Hamas
worked for is a not-for-profit in Washington state, and there's
actually an effort today by a Jewish organization, who isn't here,
it's the National Jewish Advocacy Center, and Holtzman Vogel sent
a letter to Merrick Garland saying, you know, you really need to
look into this, and you really need to get the IRS to pull the
funding, the charitable status designation, rather, from this
group, because groups that are advocating for terrorism anywhere
in the world have absolutely no business being designated
by charities as, you know, from the United States of America.
You know, it's just amazing. I think it was eight ISIS members
they arrested today. Did you see that? And those came
over from the southern border. It's just, I don't care what
political party you affiliate with, Joe Biden is a criminal,
and he is purposely bringing terrorists into this country.
The one thing we can be thankful for is so far they seem to all
go toward liberal cities. And I'm like, you know, I don't
wish evil on anybody, but if they're going to come in here,
okay, go to LA, go to Chicago, go to New York, go to those places
that are begging for you to come in. Hamas, in response, was demanding,
they're in no position to demand anything, U.S. written guarantees
to a permanent ceasefire and hostage deal. And things like
this make you wonder about many of the so-called innocent civilians
there in Palestine. So we are here in Gaza on the
beach used by civilians and normal civilians like us that want to
go and enjoy a Sunday morning on the beach. And you can see
on the left side behind you, you can see all the umbrellas,
the beach stuff that you can sit and enjoy, including the
lifeguard house. But actually this place is a
storage for rockets and missiles. You can see here a container
that we found here on the beach with the 20 rockets with a range
of 150 to 200 kilometers flight that can reach from here to from
Gaza to Haifa and even norther. That's exactly the problem. They
are using human civilians as a human ship in order to protect
There are crimes, and this is one of the crimes that they are
doing. The world needs to know what they are doing, and this
is part of it. This is important, isn't it, for the world to understand
that civilians were living surrounded by arsenals like this with absolutely
no idea, and that they were being used as human shields. I'd say
most of the women and children probably had no idea But a lot
of the civilian men especially knew that those things are there,
and they know what's going on. The so-called innocent Palestinians
is a big exaggeration, put it that way. There are some. And
there are in every war, and we've talked about that. I won't rehash
all that in the last couple of current events. But regardless,
civilian casualties are inflated. And when confirmed, you find
out they're the fault of Hamas, because Hamas is using civilians
to hide their arms, to hide their, like, what do you want to call
it, bunkers or whatever, and that sort of thing. You can see
behind me, there are 20 rockets. four in each row with a distance
of 150 kilometers. You'll see that each missile
is rigged to red wires. And the IDF, the Israeli Defense
Forces, the engineers that are here, are about to blow them
up to deactivate them so that they can't be used. What's striking
about this, though, is that this is a beach. This is where people
come. from Gaza to swim in the sea and to relax. And these missiles,
they're here amongst them and they had absolutely no idea.
And that's what Israel is trying to demonstrate here, that this
weaponry was hiding in plain sight within civilian areas. If Israel had just bombed that
area, then the news headlines would have been, Israel bombs
beach, you know, or something like that. And this is what it
looked like when those missiles were destroyed. And that scene has been repeated
hundreds of times since October 7th, where they have found these
missiles and other explosives being hidden in schools, in hospitals,
in mosques. And when you fight a war, you
fight wherever the enemy is. And if they go into a church
or a school, like they did in Germany, you blow it up. Meanwhile,
the fighting with Hezbollah escalates on the northern border. This
is some of the headlines you're seeing today. And Hezbollah claimed
that there's 160 rocket barrage that they attacked with. I mean,
they're taking credit for it. But they did kill this guy, I
can't pronounce his name, but he was the senior commander of
Hezbollah there in South Lebanon, so good riddance. So we bring
back the explosive map. It's looking like this again,
all over. You're not hearing a lot about
what's going on, but it's still happening down in Yemen. There's
still things going on all over, including in Iran and Syria and
all that. It's just ready to blow, and
we're gonna stand with Israel. Amen, amen. Number two, the hunter
conviction. For the first time ever, a sitting
president's child has been convicted of a federal crime. A jury found
Hunter Biden guilty on all three felony charges on Tuesday morning,
including charges related to purchasing a gun while he was
actively using cocaine. CNN speculates that President
Joe Biden may overturn his only living son's sentence. Hunter
could face 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000. but likely will receive far less
than the maximum as a first-time offender. Conservatives are calling
for accountability after the guilty verdict. Representative
Jim Banks suggested Hunter Biden's conviction is a smokescreen for
more serious crimes. Hunter's lawyers are expected
to file an appeal. So now that the little stuff
is out of the way, let's move on to the corruption and bribes
involving Hunter's daddy. Number three, the Vatican horror
update. This is from a Catholic news
site. Vatican hosts summit on protecting
human life from climate change with pro-abortion governors.
Think of that. The Vatican is hosting a summit
on protecting human life from climate change And they're having
pro-abortion governors as speakers. So it's OK to kill the babies.
But let's not forget all the deaths as a result of climate
change. We purposely use many Roman Catholic
sources like this one to demonstrate that we're not misrepresenting
the facts in some anti-Catholic manner, as we have often been
accused of doing. Just FYI, some people think when
we use certain news sites, we're somehow endorsing them. We're
not. We're just showing you that even those who are on the other
side of the fence are recognizing this stuff. This summit was not
about protecting babies from abortion. Its title was From
Climate Crisis to Climate Resilience. And both Gavin Newsom of California
and Governor Maura Healey of Massachusetts spoke at it. Both
these governors promote transgenderism and abortion. Now be prepared. At some point
the Vatican will mythologize Jesus. and I believe the final
Pope will be the Antichrist. How's he going to claim to be
Christ when the Catholic Church has historically agreed with
the position that Christ was real, that Jesus was real, et
cetera? They'll change their doctrine. Folks, the Roman Catholic
Church is constantly changing their doctrine. And they claim
that they've been, they're the true church and they've been
infallible. The papal announcements are infallible and they've been
unchanging since Peter. Well, that's a lie, Peter was
never a Pope. They only started having any authority in Rome
over other churches after Constantine in 325 AD. And it wasn't for
another 100 years before there was even a claim to the Roman
Bishop being superior over other churches, the way it's taught
today. But they've changed their doctrine on Mary just within
the last 100 years, just, what was it, 1950s was when they come
up with the, I think it was the, Consumption of Mary, when she
was supposed to have gone to heaven without dying or something? Assumption. Is that what it's called? Assumption
of Mary? Some of you Catholics know? Where she went to heaven
without dying. Did you know that? Mary didn't
die. That's what the Catholic Church has been teaching now
for about 75 years. Back in the mid 1800s is when
they started teaching that she was born without original sin.
That's the immaculate conception. A lot of people get that mixed
up with Jesus. When Jesus was born, it was the miraculous conception. But the immaculate conception
is the idea Mary was born without original sin. Neither one of
them are in the Bible. But why do I say that? Look, 1 John 4,
3, and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ has come
in the flesh is not of God. And that last Pope will be the
Antichrist, they're all Antichrists. And a lot of Popes through the
years, by the way, didn't believe in Jesus in any way, shape, or
form. A lot of the Popes, some of the
Popes, anyway, believed in his historicity, at least. But a
lot of them didn't. They were of the spirit of Antichrist. And this is that spirit of Antichrist,
whereof ye have heard that it should come. And even now, already
is it in the world. So when that last Pope comes
along, somehow or other, either before him or when he assumes
power, they're going to mythologize Jesus. You already have thousands
of Roman Catholic theologians, in quotes, who are teaching that
it doesn't matter whether you believe in Jesus literally or
not. And a lot of them have their degrees in theology, but they
also have gotten their ordination or whatever they call it in Buddhism.
and transcendental meditation and these other Eastern mystic
cults that we're going to talk about here in a minute, in our
study for a minute. So, all you have to do is open your eyes
to what's going on and you'll see that it's all lining up,
all at once, all perfectly at the same time. It's an amazing
thing. Be informed, pray and act accordingly.
Who is a god like unto thee? Micah 7, 18 to 20. So we're going
to conclude our study of Micah 7 and of the entire book asking
that question. Who is a God like unto thee?
As we get into our text, verses 18 through 20, I want you to
read the even verses with me. So join right in in verse 20.
Who is a God like unto thee that pardoneth iniquity and passeth
by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth
not his anger forever because he delighteth in mercy. He will
turn again. He will have compassion upon
us. He will subdue our iniquities, and thou wilt cast all their
sins into the depths of the sea. Thou wilt perform the truth of
Jacob and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our
fathers from the days of old. Amen. So Micah ends by glorifying
God for keeping his word. And so we see the God of mercy
there in verse 18, the God of compassion in verse 19, and the
God of truth there in verse 20. The God of Israel is unique in
the mercy of his forgiveness of the sins of his people. That
may kind of just over the heads of those Christians, especially
who just kind of take it for granted that when you're talking
about God and religion, Well, in Christianity, it's all about
Jesus dying for our sins, and by faith in the gospel, the death,
burial, and resurrection, having repented toward God with faith
toward our Lord Jesus Christ, we're forgiven, amen? And so
we just figure whatever that other religion is, they must
have something along the same line, something to do with the
forgiveness of sins, and if you believe that, you're wrong. And
it was very important for someone to tell me that. Actually, before
I was saved, someone said, that's not true. And they went through
several of the religions, and I'm like, there's no way that's
true. And then I looked them up, and
it was true. In other religions, there is no way for you to have
your sins forgiven, except for what you could say is a hope
that God will let you in or whatever they call God will let you into
heaven, but it's nothing like Christianity. And because people
aren't really interested in knowing these things, they don't look
any of this up, they attend churches obviously, they don't teach it
for the most part and everything, most Christians are totally unaware
of that and they go through life thinking that all these other
religions are just kind of like Christianity, only not. And it's
far from that. First, let's look at the God
of mercy there in verse 18. Who is a God like unto thee?
Well, let's stop there for a second. No other God on earth is like
the God of Israel. And what I mean by that is, for
example, Israel prays toward a black stone in a box called
Kaaba in the city of Mecca. Islam, what'd I say? Early stages. Islam prays toward
a black stone in a box called, by the way, Israel is as lost
as Islam right now, but we'll get back to that, in a box called
Kaaba in the city of Mecca, and this is what it looks like. Those
are all people, by the way. Tens of thousands of people go
around and around that box in the middle. Now let me show you
again, if you look at the, That's the Kaaba, that big box, and
down in the corner is the black stone of Islam. And they're all
going around that, and they're saying their prayers, and it's
called the Hajj, you make your trip to Mecca. And that's the
end, you want to end up there, that's the big thing. Now if
you look at the Kaaba, it's in this elaborate area, and down
in the corner is a little black stone, Right there in the middle,
you can see it in the bottom corner there. And they made it
very similar to female genitalia. And we'll leave it at that. Just
to tell you that most religions are sex cults. Outside of biblical Christianity,
most religions are sex cults. And Islam is no different. Muhammad
just happened to have the voice of a God named Allah who is a
devil but telling him that he could have as many women as he
wanted. Guess who else had that kind of thing? Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith starts a religion
and guess what? He can have sex with as many
women as he wants to. More man. If you study the Egyptian and
other ancient religions, you'll find it's all about fertility.
If you study Freemasonry, you'll find that it's all about, G is
for the generative principle, and it's all symbolism, and behind
that symbolism is the whole sex religion. So this practice dates
back prior to Muhammad when the same rock was just one of many
gods among the Arabs. That black stone was originally
associated with the worship of the goddess Alat. Alat? Alat? See how close that is? Folks, every Muslim five times
a day bows toward that black stone. If you are caught praying in
any other direction, you can be killed, if you're in a Muslim
country, and you'll be excommunicated, or whatever their word for it
is, from the local mosque, if they catch you here in this country,
anywhere, praying any direction other than toward that black
stone. Yeah. I just wanted to say that you
got that book over there called The Truth About Muhammad by Robert
Spencer. Yeah. Yeah. And Spencer's like,
I think he's a Catholic, but his books on the history of Islam
are very good. Robert Spencer. Now, Hindus,
they worship millions of gods, small g, with no single true
eternal creator God to speak of. Once in a while, you'll run
into, they'll say, well, we have a God like that. But he's not.
He's not the creator of all things and he's not the God or anything
like that. They have one God where they
give him credit for a great deal of the creation or something
like that, but it's really convoluted. There's no idea in Hinduism of
a God and there's no concept of forgiveness of sins. No one
in Hindu religion claims to have died and paid for anybody's sin
or come up with any other way to forgive you of your sin. You
know what Hinduism really comes down to? It's preparing you to
die. Meditative practices and frame of mind so that you can
die kind of slide into it. You know, die a good death. Like
Jenny's former pastor used to say, you're gonna die, and you're
gonna die once, and you'll do it the right time the first time.
You won't have to do it over. But that's what, by the way,
yoga, that's what yoga is, a Hindu practice, and it's not for health
benefits. It might calm your nerves for
a little while or whatever, but the purpose of yoga is to get
you in a state where you're ready to die. That's the real purpose
of yoga. There are some other forms of
yoga that have different purposes, but the yoga that's used in all
the places where they do the workouts and everything, that's
what, they're using the form of yoga that is preparing you
to die. And a lot of yoga, again, sex. A lot of the yoga, if you
get into yoga and you go into some of the higher levels, it's
all about sex. Then Buddhism. It's an offshoot
from Hinduism. It's an atheistic, agnostic,
pantheistic sect. They have no concept of a being
called God. And a lot of people, well the
Buddhists worship their God. No they don't. The Hindus worship
their God. No, they worship a few million.
And that's destroyed the whole concept of God. The very idea. This is our response to a statement.
I sent this about Buddhism. I responded to them, but Buddhism
is often misunderstood as an atheist religion, but this is
not entirely accurate. While Buddhism does not subscribe
to a traditional concept of God or a creator deity, it does acknowledge
the existence of a higher reality or ultimate truth. That's not
God. See, they don't have any concept
of God in Buddhism. A higher reality or an ultimate
truth is not God. It's mysticism and everything,
but New Age, Mormonism, the LDS called the Latter-day Saints,
Eastern mysticism, animism, they're all polytheistic. Many gods,
ancestor worship, where all your ancestors become gods when they
die, it has nothing to do with our concept of God. There's no comparison. It's like
looking at, I mean, Momo is as cute as can be, but he is not
a human being. And claiming he is, okay, liberals
probably would buy it, but, you know, anyone not in the woke
transgender thing anyway isn't going to buy the idea that Momo's
a man. That's what Satan is behind the
whole transgender woke thing, folks. It's the whole Orwellian,
you name it, whatever, it all goes back to Genesis 3. Christ
God said, twisting the language, ye shall not surely die. That's
not a man, that's a woman. There are kids who are flunking
their tests in school because they refuse to say that a man
can get pregnant. That's in America. They're nuts. And folks, I'm telling you, more
people than you realize are nuts. They're all being handed over
to a reprobate mind in preparation for the rapture in the Antichrist.
You had better decide that you're not going to cross that line
with them. Because you start compromising, you go there, it
won't be long, you'll be gone.
