The Return of Christ our Resurrection Hope

Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all the Old Testament promises and prophecies. He is our hope, our salvation. Jesus our Redeemer is the reason the body of Christ exists, but more than that, If Christ is not raised from the dead, and alive in the heavenlies, then we are still in our sin and lost. We have no future without the living Christ, we have no eternity, no peace, no joy, and no rest in God.
How important is the resurrection to all these truths?
