Dead or Alive?

Most of us desire to live productive, fruitful lives. But it is possible to be successful as the world deems success, and yet fail in the area where it ultimately counts-- in our relationship with God. Are you spiritually dead or alive? How can you tell your status? By the presence of fruit! Those spiritually alive have a vital connection with Jesus Christ! And because they are plugged in to Jesus the true vine, they will bear fruit-- the fruit of Christlike character and conduct. The proof of the root is in the fruit. No fruit or bad fruit reveals that one is not vitally connected to Jesus. They are dead branches, destined to be burned. Genuine believers however produce righteous behavior which will result in eternal joy and blessing. Are you therefore dead or alive?
