God promises according to his covenant, Isaac is called to a pious life.I saac settles in Gerar. Isaac lies regarding his wife. He like us who believe in Christ are pardoned by His blood. Isaac responds to the Philistine aggressions regarding wells he dug. The Phillistines envied Isaac. This is the pilgrims life. a contract was created and peace resulted. Christ is our peace.
