Introduction

· Review of what is Prohibited by the Third Commandment

I. What is Enjoined by this Commandment

A. Expose this Sin (in others/in ourselves)

· About Offending God

· A Symptom of being Estranged from God

  B.  Use God's Name in a Manner that Glorifies God

· Must Keep the Presence of God Before Us

  C.  Swear rightly in the Name of God – Only When the Magistrate Require or When Necessary

· God is Truth; He cannot lie
