Comfort for the Bereaved

The believers in Thessalonica are concerned for some brethren who have died before the Lord has returned... will they miss it? will they miss the resurrection? and then, will they not be saved? Paul assures them that all who believe in the Lord will be saved and resurrected, in fact the will be raised first. And if christians are alive when he returns they will be immediately gathered to him, and we'll be together again and together with the Lord. This is great comfort to those who have lost loved ones.
