The Return of the Messiah

Zechariah 14 is critical in understanding eschatology for it gives details not included in other prophecies concerning the end of the age and start of the Messianic kingdom. it concludes the second oracle which began in chapter 12 with details about the purging, defense of Jerusalem that destroys its enemies, Messiah's return and His setting up His kingdom.
