The Doctrines of Grace: Perseverance of the Saints (Part II)

179 ( 176 | 3 )

Continuing our series on what it means to be "Reformed Baptist" we find ourselves taking a closer look at the doctrine of the "Perseverance of the Saints." As the final point, or the "P" in the acronym TULIP, Perseverance of the Saints is a fundamental belief inseparably linked from the other Doctrines of Grace (Five Points of Calvinism). After spending last week defining this doctrine and examining what it does and doesn't mean, we now turn to the Old & New Testaments in search of examples that verify whether this doctrine is right and true. Please join us this week for our message titled "The Doctrines of Grace: The Perseverance of the Saints (Part II)" as we turn to the scriptures for assurance that God, in His ḥeseḏ (steadfast love), will indeed empower His Christian Saints to run the marathon of life. Perseverance ensures those who are His will, in fact, persevere through trial & tribulation, growing in sanctification all the way to the finish line.
