The Promised Land!

31

Millenniums ago, God made an unconditional promise to Abraham and his descendants that He would give to them a land, a seed, and a blessing. The land grant included the territory from the River Euphrates in the north to the river of Egypt in the south--and all the land in between. In the history of Israel the Jews have never occupied the promised land, so the promise God made still awaits its fulfillment. Today the descendants of Abraham are scattered throughout the world, but are beginning to be drawn back to Canaan. The nation today is like dry bones-- a secular state without spiritual life. But one day, in the future, when Jesus Christ returns, Jews will be regathered from all over the world, will assemble as a living nation, filled with the Spirit, and will usher in Christ' kingdom here on earth. It will be a glorious day, celebrated like the first exodus. A time of great prosperity and peace with Jesus Christ reigning. One day God will fulfill the Land Promise with the Jewish people.
